Zardari Could Follow Karzai

By Salman Mugsi • Nov 20th, 2008 • Category: Politics • No Responses

To the dismay and shock of American policy makers, the so-called puppet Afghan President Hamid Karzai has said that he would guarantee security for Taliban leader Mullah Omar if he ever wanted to negotiate and said Western allies should remove him or leave if they disagreed with that.

As the war against terror in Afghanistan is going no where, and even after seven years of US led occupation and operation there is no clue about Osama Bin Laden and his Al Qaeda, the only concrete and visible thing on ground is the destruction of Afghanistan without a shed of stability and progress, and it’s people are the worst affected.

The neighbouring Pakistan is also very badly affected by this war on terror and now US is bombarding the Pakistani FATA area without any success and that is also going no where, but the Pakistani president and premier are just giving lip service, and instead of asking US the tough questions, they are just content with resolutions and tours to the land of masters.

If the puppet like Karzai could sense the common sense, then why not the elected and “popular” politicos of PPP in Pakistan?
