So are they going to block the whole internet one by one? It would take ages.

Pakistan has blocked access to the popular video sharing website YouTube.

No official reason has been given for the move, but one internet service provider said it was aimed at containing “blasphemous” material.

On Wednesday a Pakistani court ordered access to be barred to social networking site Facebook in a row over a competition involving caricatures of Prophet Muhammad.

Latest reports say certain Wikipedia pages are also being blocked.
