Youth Parliament Pakistan Tribute
By Guest Blogger • Aug 1st, 2010 • Category: Politics • 4 CommentsThe loss of so many bright young people who were the elected office-bearers of the Youth Parliament is a setback. They were, possibly, our leaders of tomorrow. One of them, Prem Chand, belonged to a minority faith from Sindh. He was after all, also a dedicated social worker and Pakistani citizen. It was unbelievable to learn that the coffin with his remains had the word kaafir written on it, instead of just his name for identification. It is highly objectionable and speaks of an illiterate mindset. This very mindset stands between us and the rest of the civilised world. People of different beliefs are good enough to die for the country but not good enough to be addressed with respect. The members of the Youth Parliament must fight against these injustices when they play their roles in the actual Parliament in the years ahead.

I hope the members of this youth parliament get a chance to practice their skills in the real parliament, so that their experiences are shared by the people and the overall condition of the country is improved.
More than 50 % of population is youth. Much of it is being trapped by extremist ideas. This needs to stop. So I would assume they would have some more work to do!!
The skills of these youth need to be practiced by the overall country to improve the mind set situation of the country.
A lot depends on the US Pak relation to see the terrorist wipe out. Many of the news are rumors that are spread by the terrorist organizations probably.
