But the following are the facts. 1.India/China trade is $60 billion with $ 30 billion in favour of China. We export mainly iron ore while China exports its manufacture.There are 50,000 Indian students in Chinese universities while we have about 1000 Chinese students.It is these students who are learning the "soft power of India" and feeling confident about their own nation's progress.They are not squeeamish about "lack of democracy" being pandied about by our US living Indians who monopolise the web. They know that actually ordinary Indians are friendly, have lot of superstitions, their politicians are corrupt but they have No animosity towards Chinese. that is why we had a joint anti/terror exercise involving commandoes of both nations.Our joint air exercise is slated for next year. China may be a bigger power with better infrastructure and defence forces but they also know now qualitatively Indian missiles like Brahmos have no defence.We are making them and deploying in plenty.When China deterred India in 1965 with two yaks stolen story is not going to be repeated, Indians can be used by US friendly leaders. It is here they have shown maturity recently.We have given asylum to Dalai lama as we have given to the Persian Zorastrians , Jews facing Roman persecution and many more like maulan Bhashani ISI cleric during 1971. We are colloborating along with Brazil, south africa in BRIC. Pakistan is taking $15 billion from USA and so has to follow its take like allowing drones from its territory, as Musharaff did in Kargil, Lal masjid,balochistan etc.Now also its ISI is desperately trying to disrupt IPL and CWG inspite of advise from China.Chinese are no fools and they are watching. I as an Indian will aadvise your nation to get out of grips of foreigners whether it is USA or China and become an INDEPENDENT NATION in which your elected leaders are allowed to have their peace, life and ofcourse voice in running your country's affiars.
