Why Zardari Sucks
By Salman Mugsi • Mar 28th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 6 CommentsPresident Asif Ali Zardari’s actions throughout his careers and now especially in his role as the president are proof enough that his extremely flippant nature and his frivolous levity is whatis getting us to the brink of no-return. Just when the life was returning to the Swat and just when the tribes of Bajaur and Khyber Agencies were holding jirgas to oust Taliban from their areas, Zardari has sucked.
With much ado and to the immense relief for the hundreds of thousands of people of Malakand Division and its adjoining areas, a peace truce was struck between the Taliban and the security forces after NWFP government of ANP pleaded with the ameer of Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Shariat Muhammadi (TNSM), Maulana Sufi Muhammad. As a result, fire was held in the region and NWFP Chief Minister Ameer Haider Hoti signed the draft of the proposed Nizam-e-Adl (Shariat) Regulation 2009, and sent it to Governor Owais Ghani to be forwarded to the president for approval on 9th of March of this year.
As soon as the CM Hoti signed the regulation, things started to return towards normalization in Swat. People returned their homes, business opened up, schools were again filled by the students, and the markets were full and the life started to heal itself. A new wave of hope swept across the region after more than two years of bloodshed and terror.
But now Asif Ali Zardari has said that he hasn’ t signed any regulation and doesn’t intend to sign any such regulation for any part of the country. Zardari has said that he wouldn’t allow such regulation at any cost in any area of the country. As he said that on the eve of 23rd March, a suicide bomber struck in Islamabad’s G7 sector.
The people of Swat have become apprehensive again and the tension is mounting again. Unrest is visible in the people and they have again started fearing for their future.

Salman Mugsi, your liking or disliking for President Zardari as irrelevent as it used to be when we had some one else in the presidency. Lets just look into one simple logic of your argument. You seem to relate our president’s stand, on the eve of 23rd March, to a suicide bomber striking in Islamabad’s G7 sector. Let’s suppose the attack is a direct consequence of that March 23 statment you talked about; does it mean that our policies should be subject to some terrorists’ liking or approval? Instead of standing firmly behind our president in this hard times, you seem to be recommending our national policy & decisions be dictated by the fear of terrorism. This is your point of view and I suppose you are entitled to it, however I am affraid I fail to understand its justification. It is good to see you as an active blogger, however, to blogg must not mean ‘blocking of your mind’ and completely insulating it from any thinking process.
Dear Mugsi,
In Simple words, we are PROUD of Mr. Zardari, The President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
What he is doing is perfectly according to the requirements of current situations.
You can not imagine depth of the sea and seriousness of storm from the distant coastline.
ZARDARI IS A TRUE HE-MAN (Mard-e-Ahan)
Facing the critical situation, we salute his courage and Praying for his success.
Can you give the name of alternate political leader, who can lead and save this sinking Titanic of Pakistani Politics.
Is there any one else???
Do Not Forget That, That:
“Watu Izzu Mantashaa, Watu zillu Mantashao”.
IF God Almighty has selected this person, to lead the country, who the hell are you to criticize that much, witout any knowledge of current situation all around the country.
Frankly Tell me, in your entire life have you ever dare to ask a simple Policeman or a common man why are you doing that unlawful?
Do you have that much courage. ???
Please be care full.
There is a famous proverb about “chor n shahid”, I do not want to repeat it here.
what i know about zardari is that, he;s a deceiving person, a person that deceived whole the nation (after elections he changed promises he made and much more), didn’t respected the words of her wife aka PPP leader, Quran and Hadith matters nothing to him, then who he is? He;s the one no one should ever believe, he loves pakistan so much that he never puts his money in pakistani banks!!, so if there is still some person favouring PRESIDENT ZARDARI, thats ridiculous.
If you don’t learn from the facts and make needed changes, you will get the same results forever, since we don’t have much time left (economies getting down), i don’t see pretty nice days for pakistani nation. Finally, these leaders will once again fly back to UK/USA and we will be left to clean up their mess, and hopefully and nation will re-elect them/son/family (and they say its democracy, wow) after 8 years or so, God! when will we start learning lessons…. *SIGH*
“Naek ne Naek bad ney Bad Jaana Mujhy,
JIs ka Jitnaa ZARF tha utna Pehchanaa Mujhey”
Be happy, Mr. Zardari has signed the “Sacred Doccument” after our National Assembly minus MQM passed the resolution. Now Taliban has reached Buner, and advancing furthur. Now start blaming Mr. Zardari again, that why he signed the doccument. Inna lillah e wa inna alehirajeun.
