Why TV Talkshows Invite Firdous Aashiq Awan?

They know that the quarral and bitter arguments get more attention and create more drama and that increases the viewershp which directly translates into more revenue.
Media raised lots of hell over the attitude of PPP leader Firdous Aashiq Awan when she abused PML(Q) leader Kashmala Tariq in a live TV program of Javed Chaudhry at Express News. She has also been found quarralling in very obnoxious way in many programs and that has only provided cheap publicity to those anchors and programs, especially to Javed Chaudhry who always try to ignite fire.
But does that promote democracy and political culture in Pakistan? Isn’t it a form of corruption? What they are trying to make of their viewership? Is media educating in this way or harming? Wouldn’t it be right to ban Firdous Aashiq Awan from the TV channel until she asks for public apology from Kashmala and promise with the nation to not to repeat her past performances again?
This will indeed set a good example and will raise standard of our politics and the journalism.

I don’t know why you are trying to criticize the TV anchors without taking into consideration that these parliamentarians are supposed to represent our nation in the assembly as well as in media and hence they need to be a bit more Polite and Ethical? If a person doesn’t have guts and skills to speak politely then he or she doesn’t have any right to claim that he represents masses! Such cheap level people should be thrown out of the business and there should be a proper check and balance on the activities of these people.
Media is doing a good job of exposing the stupidities of these politicians so that people may be in a position to make a proper voting decision next time.
Just to increase the viewership of their programs thats y our respected anchors invite cheap so called politicians
I agree with both Ajmal and George but the problem lies with their leaders, if they behave well then these MPs or MNAs will never dare to talk rubbish.
”lowest standards in our political culture” Its the 95% of the Nation of Illitrate Behave the same way as there So called self serving leaders.
dont know why tv shows call her… she use very offensive & abuse language in live shows… & media make drama from it..specially express news make full drama..
