The facts of the case and the tribunal appointed to investigate the matter concluded that the assassination could not have taken place ‘without approval from the highest level of government’. 13 years on still nothing has changed, the criminals are still free and the families of the victims continue to seek justice. We demand: The current government of Pakistan immediately book and investigate thoroughly the role of all the high level police officials involved in the assassination on that fateful night. The case currently being fought in the Pakistani courts be fast tracked and justice immediately given to all the 7 families involved.
