Who Burnt the Shops in Karachi?

With in few minutes of the suicide blasts, most of the markets alongside MA Jinnah Road were on fire and that spread like a wildfire with firing in the suburbs.
Some people say that the mourners in the processions burnt the shops to ashes in anger and protest. Some have claimed that masked men, who were not part of the procession, appeared on the site and started destroying public property. Some blame it to MQM that they did it to find an excuse to target the Pushtoon population and to ignite hatred towards Jamat-e-Islami. Some say that it was done by ANP or JI to prove MQM a failure in the cosmopolitan.
Media says that at least 2,500 shops were burnt to ashes by rioters, and shopkeepers are questioning the delay in the arrival of fire tenders. A City District Government Karachi (CDGK)-run fire station is situated near the spot of the incident, and shopkeepers believe that “timely action” could have reduced losses, which, according to Alliance of Market Association Karachi (AMAK) Chairman Attique Mir, currently stand at more than Rs30 billion.
Can you throw some light as who exactly was invovled in arson and looting?

Well as per the footage shown on Aaj Kamran Khan Kay saath it looks as if they were scouts and other guys from the procession—-that’s how it looks young guys, in black dresses etc.
The question remains, where were the rangers n police men, what snippers were doin on roof top if they were not allowed to make a shoot?. Its getting clear that local provisional gov is involved in this incident. SINDH CARD Zindabad

Everyone is doing politics on the blood & money of innocent plp.
Political parties are highly involved.
Why a reknown minister belongs to a reknown political party (who own 150 shops at bolton market) sold all of his shop just a month before..
Has he been alarmed, just a month back, however these shops were 40 years old.
Politics is highly involved.
Those who lost lives, cannot be recovered, this lost cannot be filled, its really tragic for their family for whole life, but those whose shops has been burnt, must be recovered. and Govt should help them all.
These businessman were getting thereatened from last 2 years to shift the shop. They dont know that in this manner it will be done.

The shops were burnt by criminals, and they don’t belong to any political party. Why would PPP do this in its own province, is beyond my understanding, because it would never like to expose its bad governance. These are very hard times not just for the people of Sindh but also for entire country. Yes the affectees should be compensated properly. And Criminals/ arsonists should be punished openly. So that no one should dare do this in future.
The initial evidences take us to MQM. None other than terrorist MQM can do it. The chemical used is similar the one used for burning lawyer in Tahir Plaza by MQM.

I think they were the same people who were involved in the massacre of 27th Dec 2007 and everybody knows who were those people.
The best option to avoide such incidences take place in future is to demolish all katchi abadis formed after 1984 in entire Karachi without any discrimination. One can see the tremendous drop in crimes.
A wave of terror was invoked in the aftermath of the blast, thousands lost their livelihood and it would take years to repair the damages, such miscreants need to be apprehended, the state must show its power NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW!!
I was part of the procession, and when blast occurred, many of mourners became crazy with anger as they saw the dead bodies of kids and ladies and they stormed the shops and exhaust their anger upon the shops. Shia ummah is also contributing to the city government fund. Its also the negligence of fire brigade that it came too late. City government should also pay compensation for the martyrs of procession.

Most important factor can not be ignored is Jamat e Islmai
Jamat e islami never condemn this attack coz they are cole conspirators after this carnage Jamat e islami seemed to propagating racial and sectarian violence
some evidence are collected on 29 dec when the funeral of azadar was taking place ISLAMI JAMIAT TALBA STUDENTS were seen on road in black dresses more prominently they were from saifi college and GCT college buring cars and beating people
This time pure karchities have been hit through this terrorists bombing,
Target was surely business community of Karachi who are always annoyed by goons of mqm and jiaya sind for getting bahtas from them on monthly basis.
State machinery was fully involved with these criminals.
Whole country is watching the scene but no body had seen any reaction of LEA.Where was zulfiqar mirza in 24 hrs of blast and fire spread time.
mqm nazim was running here and there as sole character in 100s of officials in Karachi govt.
DG rangers.IG police Karachi, interior ministers and city govt officials all are criminals behind the scene who actually shut their eyes and ignored the real duty and it was to give protection to life and property of public.
Rehman malik is as usual justifying his wrong doings even after hearing maximum curses and abuses form public.
I think it is his low graded quality for which he was selected for this crucial seat.
If JI was get involved then why Karachi govt couldnt arrest the single culprit whom we are watching on TV .
I was there, and i asked 4 policemen that why the hell are they not taking any initiative, 3 of them said that they are bound to not stop anyone of those, they are given the order to maintain the order of jaloos but not to take care of Law & Order situation, one of the policeman shouted at me and said that he would arrest me in the name of those people.
Its obviously a failure of Interior ministry who asked their policemen to just see the action, and don’t take any step to stop those mobs.
Fire fighters were there, but they were also targeted by those people, few of them tried to fire a bullet on the driver of the fire brigade.
That all happens in front of our eyes, but we were unable to do anything.
It was the worst day of my life.

Business community was targeted by PPP because since the day PPP came into power PPP’s prominent name Zulfiqar Mirza and Agha Siraj Durrani were going for big and lot of bhatta with the help of Jamat e Islami also. Business community then turned towards MQM to save them self from the bhata khori of PPP and barbarism of PPP. on the request of Business community MQM get involved and PPP have to get back.
with no one on back JI automatically backed down from main frame and get busy in plotting this attack
every one in Pakistan and in world knows jamat e islami made taliban and still support and facilitate Taliban’s terrorist activities around Pakistan.
Jamat e islami was plotting this attack from so many days as jamat e islami is fascist group of Pakistan and using name of Islam. They chose a place and date main according to their goal. So that Racial and Sectarian riots can take place and to avenge business man community who refused to pay them bhata along with ppp.
Soon after the attack ISLAMI JAMIAT TALBA’s group and PEOPLE STUDENT FEDERATION group was on road destroying , burning and looting markets

Jamat e Islami always seek to destroy the peace of karachi on racial means and sectarian means
we must not forget that what jamat e islami ’s wings Al Badar , Al shams and Thander sqaud during the DHAKA FALL in 1971. These Wings of Jamat e Islami was doing exactly the same what they are doing now propogating and organizing racial violence in east Pakistan and west Pakistan

Mqm never ever blamed to PPP management in this mess.Throughout the period the farooq sittar stayed with rehman malik on all channels and tried their best to deviate the real facts.
All saw ignorance of LEA but Farooq sittar and altaf dada only created verbal mess on the presence of some hidden hands.
If JI is involved then culprits should had been caught and presented in media to prove the credibility of taliban presence in Karachi as always said by mqm.This was the best day to hit and kill mqm people who were just watching the events just mile standing away from main procession but they were not targeted as prominent and approachable targets at that moments.The blast went on on that part of procession where women and children are found usually large in number.
These blasts have become routine part of our lives but such chain reaction is never observed as we see in Karachi.
In lahore moon market or Peshawar market blast nothing like seen which is located near to JI HQ.Few looters were caught by police on the sopt and they are addicted and garbage picker of the market.
We have no sympathies with goons of any party but we are thoroughly watching the events and it is that there is serious something wrong going on in KARACHI under the dominance of mqm people.
