Research, development and Production has been a policy of armed force throughout the world. To produce cost effective weapon it goes side by side of weapons import.

Such projects due to their nature of national interests are not open to everyone’s knowledge. Imported Prime Minister Mr Shaukat Aziz many a times had never visited such institutions producing small ammunition. Likewise, Moin Qureshi etc were not aware of such researches and developments, because there is no need that every Pakistani should know that.

Leader of the (so called) opposition Ch Pervaiz Elahi addressing to the lower house has stated that the opposition would not allow the cut down in defense budget and missile program of Pakistan. He also talked about the project of development should be carried on (which projects can we see any in last five years?).

Every Pakistani knows that if the defense is strong then the country may progress in every field of life.

Pervaiz Elahi has nothing to say in his speech and just passed the turn by speaking on miscellaneous topics.
