Where Suicide Bombers Have Gone?

By Maria Sultan • Jan 21st, 2010 • Category: Politics • 3 Comments

It’s not that I am missing them, but I am just curious. Though for few days there have been no suicide bombings anywhere in Pakistan including the lawless FATA and PATA region and not in the Peshawar city which is so easily accessible to the terrorists, but the fear and uncertainty is still there.

This is some kind of pattern. This has happened before many times over the past two years. Sometimes, all of a sudden plethora of suicide bombings happen on daily basis for weeks and the whole country seems to be teetering on the verge of collapse, but then before the snap, things become silent and quiet. This is one of those of silent duration.

ANP says that terrorists have run out of suicide bombers. That is hard to believe, but if its true than its very welcome development and we pray and wish that that this lull in suicide bombers becomes permanent.

  1. either they have run out of new recruits or hakimullah may have started pursuing a peaceful Islam !

  2. Most of them have gone to Afghanistan to wreck havoc there.

  3. I believe they are awaiting orders from their foreign masters, I just hope and pray to ALLAH (SWT) that whoever is behind theses cruel acts will rethink and stop the vicious killing of innocent people.
