Where is Conscience of New Yorkers?

For four years, agonized screams of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui reverberated in the notorious Bagram Jail of United States Army, and now she has been put to the court in New York with a ridiculous charge.
Just make your common sense and conscience attentive and review the charge against Dr. Aafia. They say that she came to Afghanistan with her three kids, roamed the streets of Afghanistan with suspicious bottles in her bag, then she tried to snatch rifle from a marine, fired two rounds, was shot and then Bingo. Now after all these years, she is in front of US justice.
It is also reported that whenever someone including her lawyer or family member comes to meet her, she is made to undress and frisked thoroughly without clothes, no matter how many times a day. Her health is deteriorating, and is there no one with a grain of humanity left in New York. Oh, not here in Pakistan, we are busy in impeaching the man who sold many like her.

Actually she roamed in whole Afghanistan for FIVE years in search of one riffle/gun so she may attack on US Army. Problem is not with USA, it is actually with Pakistan. Who can care that she is Dr. Aafia or so and so except her own country and their government. When your own sells you for the sake of dollars, we can not blame others.
Alas….!
In my view, it would be better that our government killed her and her sons on spot, instead of letting wolves to use her day and night for 5 years. Where is justice??? Where is Humanity??? Where is our Amour-propre? After all she is a daughter of this Pakistan….
What we are doing with our very own blood? If earth quake comes… looters takes away young girls in mountains and use them and sells them……. If terrorism war starts… we presents our nation’s daughters to enemies for enjoyment is Afghanistan….
When this story will finish. When we will behave like a very normal human being? Im not asking to behave like a real gentleman…I’m simply asking to behave as human being. If you are not getting my idea then see National geography… Discovery Science…. The animals will tell how to defend their off springs. Yes..learn from animals. You will feel real shame as a human being.
I’m sorry it is very special day but we have to think for better future. For it we have to see inside ourself, no body is going to come from other country to save us and our daughters/sisters. Listen the voice of their cries and see their breast-beating. Try to put yourself their their shoes and then feel the difference. How a full stomach can feel the pain of empty stomach. Full stomach can only suggest that BUY & EAT CHICKEN, IF DAAL IS EXPENSIVE…
A Glorious Dawn…And a Better Day:
Another dawn …another day,
Disgrace; insult is thrown our way;
Yet shamelessly on their golden perch
The spineless look - Oh how they sway!
As if there is no Lord above,
They with the devil-hand in glove;
Selling our dearest values and souls,
For gold and power - push and shove!
This crime you saw they so denied,
To filthy scum they sold the bride;
Yet the mighty Creator seeing it all
Unveils the gruesome act they hide!
Amongst ravenous wolves the fair one lies,
As from brutish hands she helplessly flies;
A suffering sister sane no more,
Her anguished screams - they rent the skies.
And this is all the pride you boast,
Our tormentors you daily host !
But yesterday we shared the cup,
- And today so far apart we coast ?
When comes a ‘Qasim’ to stem this rot?
Of Almighty Allah and His Messenger forgot!
Of cheaply selling our heritage which -
With submission and sacrifice was dearly bought.
And yet the strong will go their way,
As an ‘Iftikhar’ keep the monsters at bay;
Afia! Our elders pray, while the braver fight -
For a glorious dawn…and a better day!
