What They See in Latif Khosa

At one side, the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry is trying hard to clear the filth from the judiciary and harranguing on the virtues of justice and fair play and on other other side, the government is filling up the posts with the proven and notorious characters.
Latif Khosa is former attorney general and the government had to dispel him after the bribery allegations. The allegation was that Khosa got Rs 3 million from a litigant to get his petition fixed before a choice bench of the Supreme Court.
Soon after his dismissel as attorney general, he was elevated to more powerful position. Now he is looking after the parliamentary business of a total of seven federal divisions on behalf of the prime minister as his adviser.
Khosa is one of the legal brain who are advising the government as how to tackle the judiciary. He has also got stake in removing the judiciary as his bosses, and perhaps that is why he has acquired so much power.

It’s really unfortunate to see people like Latif Khosa holding on to various government posts despite proven corruption charges.
I wish if the author had mentioned some misdoings that Latif Khosa did in his new capacity rather than plainly doubting his intentions.
