What Caused Justice Chaudhry to Release a Beast?

When it comes to confronting terrorism, the biggest mistake (deliberate or inadvertant) in recent times, was committed by the restored Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry, who after his second coming(i.e. second restoration), released this highly dangerous, highly notorious, former Lal Masjid Terrorist Moulvi Abdul Aziz. It was a really shocking decision, considering that this terrorist took up arms against the state, is responsible for the deaths of a number of security personnel, and held hundreds of children hostage for weeks.
The Justice Movement of Chaudhry Justice Iftikhar was spearheaded by political activists with purely political motives as well as absolute fools in the garb of human rights activists such as mad ladies Aasma Jehangir and Tahira Abdullah. President Musharraf called Aasma Jehangir a traitor, due to her conduct.
What did these justice movement fools garner other than destabilizing their own dear country Pakistan? Unfortunately, such fools still lurk around.
Kahan ka insaaf, kahan ka justice? Yeh to sirf Chaudhry Justice ki nookari bahal karnay ki movement thi!
And see what ‘First Gift’ did this Chaudhry Justice give the nation upon his much trumpeted “Second Coming”(i.e. Second Restoration), when immediately after his restoration, he released the notorious Terrorist Moulvi Abdul Aziz. This terrorist Moulvi had 11 cases of treason and terrorism pending against him and yet Justice Chaudhry set him free. It was a really a SLAP ON THE FACE OF PAKISTANI NATION and OUR BRAVE SOLDIERS WHO ARE FIGHTING EVIL TERRORISTS, considering that this terrorist Moulvi took up arms against the state, his goons destroyed government property, notably the Federal Government Model Children’s Library. This Moulvi is responsible for the deaths of a number of security personnel, and held hundreds of children hostage for weeks and subsequently used them as human shields.This terrorist Moulvi had 11 cases of treason and terrorism pending against him and yet Justice Chaudhry set him free.
Now this notorious terrorist is roaming around the country, delivering speeches in favour of Taliban Terrorists. This is blatant treason. This is simply intolerable. If victory is to be attained against Taliban terrorists, then such extremist sympathizers have to be silenced.
A number of High Ranking Army Officials have also raised concerns over this issue. Recently, IG of Frontier Corps , Maj. Gen. Tariq Khan expressed his outrage over the issue.
Justice Chaudhry was dismissed for the second time, in November 2007, by President Musharraf, who accused him of releasing dangerous terrorists which obviously resulted in demoralizing the law enforcement agencies.
It seem that this judge hasn’t learnt anything from his past blunders.
And incase he has learnt anything, then why doesn’t this incumbent (twice) restored Chief Justice take suo moto notice of the terrorist activities of this beast Moulvi that he released earlier?? After all Justice Chaudry is famous around the world for his suo moto actions. So why doesn’t he take such action now?

i tend to agree with you Hassan but there are a lot of Pakistanis who still say bombing lal masjid was wrong…..unfortunate but a reality nonetheless !!

you have said all this in comments yesterday and today you have compiled the tit bits of you comments, which no one was willing to buy, into a blog,
if you want “suo moto” action how about starting with charging you with contenmpt of court?
you know only yesterday, a co-worker of mine , who like you is a fan of musharraf and the peoples party,
he came and said “(ma aur behan ki gali) innhonn ne petrol ki keemat phir increase ker di, abb kahan hai woh (ma aur behan ki gali) iftikhar ch? abb petrol sasta kiyun nahi ker ta?” (they have increased the prices of petrol again, where is CJP, why is he not taking any action?) refering to to the suo moto action and order to decrease the petrol prices by the Court
i told him that first of all the its not CJP who increased the prices, secondly its not up to CJP to reduce the POL prices, and the prices were increased by the zardari government, musharraf’s hand picked sucessor
the point to tell you this is , no expects anything well from our leaders so, everyone has pinned hopes on the CJP to deliver something ,
even his opponents like you may call him bad by mouth, but in you heart , he is also you last hope, and since you cannot support him now you just blame him for every ill in the country, just like my co-worker did
-If our Inteligence is not doing its job which results in sucide bomb, is CJP responsible?
-if insuficient evidence is produced, is CJP responsible?
either the establishment is not interested in getting the Cleric punished , or they dont collect evidence properly
-if the taliban flogged a girl in SAWAT, is CJP responsible?
-if our government follows the US dictates, is CJP responsible?

obviously musharraf mishandled the crisis, Ibrahim if you have relative or a friend in Islamabad, he/she might tell you the ground realities, a lot of them were in the newspapers also

The Lal Masjid Operation was the best decision at the time, even though the government should have taken such a measure at an early stage. Most Pakistanis DO NOT consider it wrong. Actually, a few political parties and the Mullahs propagate “blatant lies” to misguide uneducated citizens. Moreover, many in the government also shy away from ‘taking the bull by the horn’ and challenging Justice Chaudhry’s illogical decision to release this beast Moulvi Terrorist.
Tell me where in the world does it happen that a Chief Justice ignores 11, repeat 11 cases of murder, terrorism, inciting violence, kidnapping and most importantly treason, and releases the accused? Its outrageous……Simply Outrageous! On one hand, our brave soldiers are laying their lives in the fight against terrorism, while on the other hand our country’s top Judge releases a high profile terrorist who is known to have harboured suicide bombers, and known to have killed several soldiers and officers of Frontier Constabulary, Police and the Pakistan Army.
Tell me isn’t it outrageous??
Where are those foolish self proclaimed human rights activists like Aasma Jehangir, Tahira Abdullah who raised much hue and cry for Chaudhry Justice’s restoration? Don’t these fools see what a blunder their Chaudhry Justice has made? Don’t these fools see that by releasing this Mastermind Terrorist “Darrinda” (Wild Beast), the Judge has put the lives of ordinary Pakistanis on risk? Isn’t the RIGHT TO LIFE THE BIGGEST HUMAN RIGHT IN THE WORLD??

Musharraf did the best thing by ordering a military operation against Terrorists hiding in the Lal Masjid. A Mosque is a place of worship and must never be allowed to be occupied by terrorists. Such things are never tolerated anywhere in the world. I know Islamabad very well. Suicide bombers were holed up in the Lal Masjid. Instead of showing restraint and waiting for a couple of months, Musharraf should have earlier ordered a military operation
In 1979, when an extremist terrorist group occupied the Holy Mosque in Mecca, Saudi forces also used full military force to kill those terrorists
All political leaders overtly or covertly condoned the Lal Masjid operation. Great National Leader, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto also supported the Lal Masjid operation!

when i am pointing to musharraf or the government, i mean to tell you the extremists were not born over night, they did not get their training over night, they did not get their arms overnight
it makes no difference if there are 11 or 1100 cases, they are to be proved, there are cases against Altaf Hussain, they are also yet to be proved, if the cases against him are pending would also call him a terrorist?
lets suppose for a while if the clerics is a terrorist, but you are talking about 1 terrorist, what about the others terrorists , no sucide bombing been proved to be linked to Abdul Aziz, what about them, what about the sucide bombings when Abdul Aziz was in jail before the CJP relaeased him?
all i am saying is that it is illogical to put all the blame on CJP’s doorstep

When asked, is really Ch. Iftikhar a revolutionist, one of the nearest lawyer of Nawaz Sharif said that he didn’t think Chaudhry sahib was any different man out of our beaurocrates system neither Chaudhry sahib was supposed to do any revolution in future but his party stood shoulder to shoulder with him only because he stands for right.
So we must not over estimate though our expections has been high. Shahbaz Sharif has started warning about “bloody revolution” and we must listen to him carefully. That what really makes him to tell that.
The doors of terrorism in Pakistan are opened to Americans and Indians so what more bloody revolution we can expect? Or Should be wait for a superman?

There is irrefutable evidence in the form of TV footage, Moulvi’s own recorded speeches, most of all, this terrorist Moulvi was commanding all his bastard terrorists and during the concluding stages of the operation, he tried to escape the compound, wearing his wife’s burqa. SHAME ON HIM A THOUSAND TIMES! Please stop defending the Terrorist Moulvi. Your dear Chaudhry Justice released this “Darrinda” (Wild Beast) Terrorist Moulvi!

Why not fulfill our responsibility as Pakistani citizens, and make an online petition to the President, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari, to nullify the outrageous decision of Chaudhry Justice Iftikhar of releasing the Terrorist Moulvi, and also to file a reference of misconduct and playing with national security against the said judge in the Supreme Judicial Council….??

Actually my blood is boiling over Chaudry Justice’s outrageous decision and I want to do something. I consider it as a good option to make an online petition website, take a million online signatures and submit it to His Excellency the President.
