Wellspring of Power is People not POP

By Brig. (r) Junaid Zaman • Mar 7th, 2008 • Category: Politics • One Response

It is unlikely and nation understands that the new government would be unable to solve all the gaping crisis in a jiffy and there exists no magic wand to make the evils disappear in split second.

The coalition government must understand that it was the people who brought them in power, and it was people who stood against tyranny and who nullified the efforts of rigging with their might. The will of people has thundered and leaders of PPP, PML-N and ANP has to pay heed to it.

It’s not that meeting with the ambassadors and toadies of US, UK, and president of Pakistan (POP) of Asif Ali Zardari and others is a no-go thing, but the perception is that the newly won party leaders are being pressurized. If Asif Ali Zardari bows to the pressure put by US and POP about making a coalition with PML-Q then the smouldering nation would vaporize him in thin year.

He has no choice, he has to respect the mandate.
