Well Done Colin Powell

Recently Mr. Colin Powell endorses Barack Obama on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” But for American Muslims most important things are the remarks of Colin Powell for an American Muslims.
In recent times we did not hear such brave comments from any popular mainstream leader who was the Former Secretary of State. One of the false intimations about Obama is that he was Muslim (Ret. Gen.) Colin Powell said he’s always been a Christian. But the really right answer is, what if he is? Is there something wrong with being a Muslim in this country? The answer’s no, that’s not America.
Is there something wrong with some seven-year-old Muslim-American kid believing that he or she could be president?
Yet, I have heard senior members of my own party drop the suggestion, “He’s a Muslim and he might be associated terrorists.” This is not the way we should be doing it in America.
After 9/11 sometimes American Muslim had to defense them self as an American Muslim. They need to give proof to the people that they are an American like all other patriotic Americans. Many times people asked American Muslim where they come from .
Powell, the son of immigrant parents from Jamaica who rose to the top ranks in military and government of our country
brought up some very good concerns about situation of American Muslims. What he said in his interview could help many people to understand the position of an American Muslim. All Americans Muslim love USA like any other patriotic American.
This is the reason they choose USA to live with their family. Who would choose place for their living which they do not like? All American Muslim are delighted after listening to the person who held the key position of President George Bush government. Truth is such a rare thing, it is delighted to tell it. As an American Muslim I’d like to say thanks to Ret. Gen. Colin Powell for his courageous notes about an American Muslims.

I totally agreed with Dawar.
Colin Powell brought some very good points.
It’s good to hear from mainstream leader.
His sentences could be the part of American history.
Once Colin Powell was a part of Bush Admin. But due to difference he resigned from his position.
This is a beauty of America; American constitution allows every one to express their views.
Another one lesson for us, Replucian Colin Powell will vote to Obama without switching his party.
American politicians are going with the issue not with party.
