<description>I am guessing by redhat 4 you mean redhat enterprise linux 4 (RHEL 4)? Nowadays you have RHEL 5 and the community equivalent centos 5. Centos 4/ RHEL 4 is a very good server OS and I am sure you will find the learning experience worthwhile. In fact RHEL/Centos is the most widely used linux distribution for web servers and I myself am using centos 5 on my web server. You should checkout the centos website where you can download the latest version.
