We are a strong, warm hearted and lively Nation!

By Mian Usman • Feb 9th, 2010 • Category: Politics, Worth A Second Look • 9 Comments

We are nation who has seen the worst side of life for the decades. One problem ends, ten new problems emerge for the common people. Life is too tough and its making it difficult for masses to survive financially with every day passing by. No matter what happens, how tough are the livings conditions are and how demoralised we can be at times but as a Nation we have an amazing ability to strike back and work hard to change the out look of  the circumstances.

Our wealth can be taken away from us, our basic human rights can be taken away from us, our respect can be questioned at times but no Nation in the world has the courage and means to take away spirit of living with a smile and lifting our spirit up to do the hard work for our family and Country.

We keep smiling even if we do not have enough to run kitchen for next few weeks, we have the courage to bear the loss of our dear ones who are martyred by terrorists, we go to mosques despite the attacks on mosques, we send our kids to schools knowing the danger out there, we encourage our daughters to study knowing that few crazy people out there do not like it, we believe in the political system and vote in elections to hope for a change next time, we honor a woman as our Prime Minister no matter how great was the pressure from people who never believed in freedom and respect of women, we respect our parents and do not abandon them in the old age and love them and pray for their life and health,.

We are not a Nation who would bow down before negative agenda of any foreign invader, we will not tolerate people with in our lines who spread hatred and violence, we will disregard the agenda of any newspaper, channel or an anchor person who seem to play in the hands of our Country’s enemies. Gone are days when our voice could be heard, we are an organized Nation and ready to face any body having any false agenda. We can face death with smile and Kalmae Shahadat on our lips, we can not be made afraid of any thing except Allah’s wrath, we believe that there is a time and day of each of us birth and death, so we would rather fight against the odds and live for the future of our Country and our kids.

I would suggest all TV channels and news papers spread some hope as well apart from trying to sell air time and paper by highlighting sizzling gossips of Politics, War on terror and corruption. I can not believe that majority of our Nation is corrupt then why not highlighting the good part as well. People of Pakistan need encouragement and a little support to work in positive direction and uplift the the moral of each other. Its never going to be curtains for us as an Independent country, all we need is a belief that we can change our lives with out so called support of the government or corrupt politicians.

God bless Pakistan and give us further strength to live up to the expectations of our forefather who have contributed in the freedom struggle of Pakistan and always be be brave hearted.

Click For More Articles By Mian Usman Writing poetry and articles is one my favorite passtimes. I write truth openly in a straight forward manner and dont believe in an indirect hinting towards the truth. Am an ordinary man with an extra ordinary wish to see peace, harmony, justice and equality for common man before I die. For that I have decided to write my inner thoughts on the day to day sufferings around us. Silence can not solve any problem it rather increases it. My struggle will end with me. Am grateful TPS to provide me an opportunity to join a group of very talented writers from whome am learning a lot. Am not a man of letters so you would find my expression not as good as my seasoned and experienced partners who regularly write, my focus is primarily on the message in my articles and TPS is helping me to convey it to a lot of people.

  1. And do not forget the millions who got displaced and went back with no complaints. These are the strengths of our society that can be dreamed these days by some but was and is displayed here in front of our eyes.

  2. One thing that used to make us happy in Pakistan was to watch a cricket match either on TV or at the ground. Unfortunately our Mullah brothers have made sure that even this pleasure is taken away from us. Of course to the Mullah anything including laughing loudly is not allowed based on their masters interpretation of Islam as practiced in oil rich Saudi Arabia. But then Saudi Arabia has no cricket, Hockey, sport or music and do not care.
The sad part is although we can see many Pakistani men and women trying to look like Sauidis in their dress and manners, just visit one of the large Madrassas or seminaries, I have yet to see a Saudi in Pakistani outfit with a waist coat and Shalwar Kameez.

Why not use this strength to confront the extremist Mullahs who live in our Madrassas and neighborhoods and are the very people who train the Taliban and Suicide bombers.
We must remember that every Taliban leader used the title of Mullah Toofan and so on.
The title of Mullah confirms the cleric status of most Taliban and their educational Alma Mater the Pakistani Madrassa.

Whenever the Taliban murder people or destroy a girl school in an already impoverished area, the Jamat-i-Islami and closet Mullahs like Nawaz Sharif and company will refuse to condemn them. However they will gladly lead a march on Islamabad for NRO because it helps them politically.
Jamat-i-Islami and any other party that refuses to condemn the extremist Mullahs and their clones the Taliban should be treated as enemies of the state and disbanded.

We must confront these murderers and rid Pakistan of the cancer of Mullah violence and their beloved Hadood ordinance imposed on the people of Pakistan through a fake referendum that also included a trick question that most Muslims would answer in the affirmative.

  3. Well a prediction and fear both. All these none sense mullahs of ours will be taken out eventually but the deep scar that they have given us as a nation is so deep that it will drive the local masses away from even the real teachings of Islam.

So in short they have plundered the image of Islam to an extent that people will be driven away from it. I hope the real Silent Alims will then break their silence and take some role before my great religion heads for chaos.

Although it has been told by the prophet (PBUH) himself about this downfall of Islam. These illiterate Mullahs think that they are the saviors but infact they are the destroyers themselves of this peace loving religion of mine.

  4. Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light! Even with a turbulent past and a skeptical future our nation does have the courage to count its blessings. Our commitment remains undeterred despite of all the bloodshed and miseries. We will rise up to this challenge and our commitment to peace will be the key to defeat the extremist elements

  5. @concerned citizen. Well said. What not have the mullahs taken from us. We cant go to movies, playgrounds, schools or even any public place. There Is a fear that sum crazy militant will jump out and open fire. I hope this militancy is washed and these extremist mullahs killed asap.

  6. I agree we as nation have put on a brave show, if any of this were to happen in anywhere else in the world they would turn to chronic depression. Our commitment must not break for we have vowed to erase extremism from our society

  7. A A Majboori:
We should repeal the 73 constitution. Any Mullah who refuses to change should be put in Labor Camps to build roads and clean our drainage system. Those Mullahs who have gone mad and cannot be reformed should be shot or deported to Saudi Arabia to serve thier Masters.

Saudi Arabia would like to establish theocracies everywhere to gain acceptance for their own illegal regime run by princes with the help of Budmaash Mullahs.

A A Majboori I am concerned about your mental state. UR are not well and need immediate help with Psychotic condition. Which city in Pakistan has the honor of having you as their learned resident

  8. CC:— I’ve introduced myself already why do you ask again over again anyway if you’ve forgotten then read it once again & this time with full apply due attention.
