No doubt Pakistan suffered a lot due to terrorism and rendered more sacrifices than any other country. War on terror has become Pakistan’s own war and it is fighting it with full determination. As world recognizes Pakistan’s efforts in war on terror and pledges support to Pakistanis, but we have seen that it comes late to help Pakistan. International community and donors must come forward to help out people of Pakistan. As now Pakistani security forces advance into the South Waziristan agency to strike at the core of terrorism, there are many people likely to leave that area like it happened in Swat operation. Government handled that issue with so much courage despite having limit resources. Government enjoys full support of people against terrorism. World must come forward and help out Pakistani people.

I think, that is again the failure of our diplomacy to plead the Pakistan case. Before initiating the things, it was to be made out clear that what direct and indirect expense we anticipate, that had to be backed by quatrely reports with statistical figures of expenses, infrastructure loss and not to say of human suffering.

The stake holders should have had been defined (the direct and indirect beneficiaries) and cost would have been divided according to the estimated benefit each party achieve at the end.

But all that need big vision backed by hard work to get the facts on sheets. And then the strong media team to raise it on the global forums. But who cares. Here most of the people like hidden deals instead of transparent cases.
