Waving Flags On Independence Day Won’t Help Us Grow!

By Syed Hassam Ahmed • Aug 4th, 2012 • Category: Politics • 6 Comments

The enthusiasm and interest begins to grow among the youth and the children as the date 14th August, the Independence Day of Pakistan comes closer. The business of making National flags and the trend of waving these flags on the roofs, roads and streets is a common practice these days.

However, we as a Nation have forgotten the actual motto behind the creation of Pakistan which was solely and unquestionably the implementation of Islamic laws and establishing a true Islamic state in this part of land, for which hundreds and thousands of immigrants gave their lives.

The goal behind its creation is still evasive and we have to move for that now or the water will surpass the maximum level.

Till today, we have been celebrating Independence Day as a lost holiday. In order to make it worthy, we ought to initiate some rational and practical steps instead of waving and decorating the houses with flags. Posting greeting messages on Facebook and Twitter surely won’t do anything for us.

  3. Sobia Raja Ka nahi Buja - BAJA - Teen/3 Ghantay Guzar Gaiy - Kia hoa abb tuk qiyoun nahi bajia BAJA?

OK leave this actual purpose of independence - let me know the importance of Modernity & Equal Rights for each & every Pakistani in presence of untouchable ruling elite.

It is by mean to whom you give more IMPORTANCE between these two Modernity & Equal Rights?

  4. Most importantly we need to rebuild our image which has been lost due to some of the bad happenings. we need do a lot in order to remove the tag of terrorist from ourselves. we need to boost our economy both in terms of stability and revenues. we should emphasize the fact of buying Pakistani stuff rather then foreigner stuff. this is the era of digitization and everything is possible the only thing we have to do is to initiate. we can buy online from many of the sites one of them can be dekho.com.pk

  5. Siddra why women are so curious to know others personal affair & always ready for wrong perception e.g. if someone asks me search the price of HELIX Shoes as he’s dealing in mining business then what’s the harm therein? Besides if simultaneously it is supposed I purchase one pair of shoes of the same brand - just to complete the combination of fresh jeans & T Shirts - then what’s harm?

  6. Most importantly we need to rebuild our image which has been lost due to some of the bad happenings. we need do a lot in order to remove the tag of terrorist from ourselves. (Ufff & Tufff - Dobara)

Moreover kindly describe — if JUSTICE is PREVAILED with its true spirit - don’t you think Terrorism is just a secondary objective among the top priorities of things to do.

Before answering the same remember Hzt. Ali KAW’s standing order —”A social set up can survive even ruling period of non-believer / atheist - but - never without JUSTICE.”

Kindly try to understand the importance of JUSTICE with its true spirit specially at poor & ignored Pakistan where-at UNTOUCHABLE ruling elite assume themselves — this beloved land of Pakistan is just Mistress for them.
