Warid introduces ‘Youth Blog Zone’ and ‘Facebook Mobile Texts”

Warid Telecom (Pvt.) Ltd., following its tradition of providing innovative products and services to its subscribers, has brought the concept of traditional blog websites to mobile phones. Now Warid subscribers can register to “Youth Blog Zone” and express their views on a common forum. Warid ‘Youth Blog Zone’ enables the members to post questions of their interest and can also leave comments on blogs, thus providing a chance to interact with other members and vice versa. To enjoy this existing facility, Warid subscribers can simply send “Youth” in an SMS to 1166 & get registered. Once they have registered to the service, they are eligible to initiate discussions and receive blog messages from other members of the blog zone.

After the phenomenal success of Facebook MMS feature, Warid introduces yet another exciting service “Facebook Mobile text” and with this exciting service now its all through SMS. Customers can update their status, post on their friend’s wall, message their friends, add new friends, poke them and much more, simply by sending SMS to 32665 (FBOOK).

Warid customers will have to synch their Face book account with their Warid Mobile numbers on Face book website. From then on, they can send & receive status updates, post on friend’s walls, message friends to their inbox & much more. In addition to this, customer will also receive notifications related to Facebook for FREE
