Like CIA and ISI left Taliban after using them, Aitzaz Ahsan and Nawaz Sharif left the lawyers in the cold. Judges got restored with all the perks, power and privileges and Aitzaz Ahsan received laurels and so was Ali Ahmad Kurd, Munir A Malik and other leaders.

But there were lawyers who sacrificed their profession, clients, family life and everything and remained at the roads combating police and other hardships for the restoration of justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and other judges and for the lofty aim of supremacy of law and constitution. Justice got restored and people started haggling over the details of whether the supremacy of law is there or it remains to come. As there was no dictator to fight anymore, agitation halted and Aitzaz Ahsan went to New York and CJP to his court and lawyers wondered on the roads.

Now these lawyers have no where to go. Their law practice is in jeopardy, their clients no where. They want some appreciation and some rumenaration too. But even media has forgotten them, and now they are hitting whater is coming there way. That is called frustration my dear and not “WakeelGardi.”
