In their misery, offer they diversity
Into human soul and its mechanics
We don’t hear or see them
And yet in existence, they offer
Beauty and pain, we walk past
Carefree and not observant
Like unknown hands, they perform
Old functions of humanity, we take
For granted, for leisure and reflection
What will we get we ask,
Ask you the wrong questions
Ask us, how we live and spend
Those lonely splendid nights
In hope and determined faith

Come and spend few moments
Learn you will all of our ways
Those stoic moments in hope
In pride, we always walk
Unnoticed and repented
Never will you come our way
Think you of us as stains
Created from poverty and hunger
What will we get we ask,
Ask you the wrong questions
Ask us, how we live and spend
Those lonely splendid nights
In hope and determined faith
