Union of Muslim Leagues

By Sameer Shaharyar • Nov 8th, 2008 • Category: Politics • No Responses

Once again there are obvious chances that the Muslim leagues will get united. The biggest obstacle in the union is the personal grudges of Sharif and Chaudhary brothers between them, but now the snow is melting pretty steadily. One such event has occurred which will go a long way to untie the factions of Muslim League.

The names of General Hameed Gul, former governer Pervaiz Elahi and Brig. Ejaz Butt has been put in the FIR in Karachi in regard of Karzas Bomb blast in the procession of Benazir Bhutto, when she returned to Pakistan after self exile after striking a deal with Musharraf with the facilitation of United States of America.

This has brought PML-Q and PML-N closer. Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, a senior leader of PML-N has said that barriers for the Chaudhry brothers are being lifted from the Raiwind Road (where Nawaz Sharif, the leader of PML-N lives), and there are news that Shahbaz Sharif has met with Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.

New alignments are on the horizon. Alarming situation for PPP so much so that they have denied that any names have been added to the FIR.
