Unconnected PPP Leadership
By Salman Mugsi • Dec 31st, 2009 • Category: Politics • One ResponseWith the assassination of the Benazir Bhutto, the whole frontline leadership of the PPP has either changed or it has become compromised and has opted for the expediency. Most of the people at the hotseats in the present regime belong to the President’s Zardari.
Not only the murderers of the Benazir Bhutto are on loose and there is no serious investigation for her tragic assassination. Even the FIR of her murder has not been lodged. That is very strange and very fishy. This unpopular and new apolitical leadership of PPP is not harming the party, but also democracy and the government.
Media cannnot bring change like the PPP is claiming. There is method to the madness created by PPP leadership. They want to hide their failures. They want to play Sindh Card, but they cannot really hide the failure of their governance.
Actually the reason is that the current leadership of PPP was never involved in real politics. Even late BB had put her husband at distance and she never allowed him to be involved in important meetings and decisions and all of the current bigwigs of the government were nowhere to be seen in BB’s coterie.
That’s a very sorry state of affairs for Pakistan, democracy and the PPP.

IF Zardari and the PPP govt. is not performing well as you claim then how is it that the PPP won in the Gilgit Baltistan elections as well the seat in Quetta bye elections? The masses have confidence in the leadership of President Zardari.
