I hate to be the bearer of bad news friends! 2000 pounds do not buy you a MBA degree,an English bride and posh job in London.

These greedy Travel Agents are conning gullible students by working for sham colleges in London. The British government has stopped student visa for Delhi, Punjab, Kolkata and Nepal after widespread fraud and iregularities, I am sure Pakistan is next. The sooner the UK government catches these unscrupulous colleges the better.

Either go to a proper University in UK with 8000 pounds tuition fee for Overseas Student or go to America, Canada, Australia or New Zealand if you want cheaper education. If your University campus (not private affiliate college) is on this list you are safe.

disgrace and tragic the way HR is exported to other countries in the world. Unfortunately, the best of students move abroad in search of a better lifestyle and purchasing power. So much grant is given to Pakistan to better education if that was just utlised in the right manner there would have been changes worth mentioning.

England is not the only country where "B-Universities" are playing games. Same game is being played in USA as well, and that too on a larger scale. These so called universities runners know very well that students from third world countries would be blind if they get four years multiple student visa, more so when legal concession has been given to work for 4/5 hours part time jobs during their study stay in UK or USA. Blame is not entirely on their part, we the students share the blame equally.

As pointed out with one fourth expenditure we can get degrees from our recognized universities, but I am afraid, the temptation for most of the students for foreign study is simply for better jobs, better earnings and may be they get a chance for citizenship there.

@Aamir - I agree to your points but I am sure that many Pakistani living in the Islamic republic of Pakistan makes counterfeit medicines, drinks, alcohol and drugs just to sell and make money.

If we cannot stop ourself from doing this,, why are we blaming others and asking others to stop? We need to change, we need to stop and think before taking actions!

Brother, I concur with you that our students are to be blamed but UK government is equally responsible. They are paving the way to lure the foreign students by so called bogus institutes, I'm sure someone in Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) facilitated the registration of these "dodgy" universities and colleges registered. UK government is still not dealing adequately with bogus colleges which supply fraudulent student visas, the government has been aware of their existence for more than a decade and done nothing to stop them ?

@Aamir, being a Pakistani myself living in UK for more than 7 years and have studied from a very good university - Alhamdulillah, i too blame these students unfortunately.

They don't do any prework before coming to UK; they beleive they can earn an MBA degree by paying £2000 .. they dont work hard and what ever they earn, they spend on luxuries such as brand new mobile, a tv and indian channel (which is luxury for students)

I work now for a big company and I have not seen many Pakistani students applying for internship in such companies either .. let alone blaming government - be the change you want to see!

Thanks,

Excuse me, what proof you that these universities and colleges are owned by Indians or Pakistanis. I would blame the UK government who permits such universities and colleges to crop-up in every corner of their country and then incarcerate the innocent students on baseless charges of terrorism.

England has around 190 legitimate universities,I wonder Why? these 'poor' students donot pay the fees of 8000 to 10000 to get admissions in universities.

If you want to study in these sham colleges, mostly owned by Pakistani and Indian businessman, for a fraction of the fees charged by major universities, you have yourself to blame for the fraud.

Hi Muskan,
You are absolutely correct. The white nations have been playing the racist card also due to servility of English speaking classes in subcontinent for WHITE EDUCATION. UK has stopped issuing student visas to Indians.
In this INDIAN EDUCATION MINISTER is playing the game of western nations by derecognising Indian Universities. The BEST AUTONOMOUS COLLEGE IN BANGALORE which was called CHRIST UNIVERSITY now stands derecognised WITHOUT ANY REASON OR AN OPTION TO SHOW IMPROVEMENT..lahore University, Delhis St.Stephens, IIMs and IITs of India are given autonomous powers but the BABUS OF DELHI want the corruption to comeback.
