Naeem Bhai, sure, a national government (with representation of all the political parties) would have been an ideal situation, but then unfortunately 'ideal situations' are just 'ideas'. Of course, that would only be possible if we had people who could put the 'national interest' above their personal agendas. I am not oblivious to the sad circumstances our country finds itself into. No, I am not suggesting that PPP alone can help us out of this difficult situation, however I do not consider a party or a leader being alone in this or any endeavor as long as all the stake holders are allowed to and are willing to play their due role in running the state. I think like you and me many many others these politicians also must come together, not necessarily in a coalition, however unitedly with a single purpose of steering us out of this crisis situation.

Being a chronic optimist, I tend to consider these crisis as opportunity for us to emerge as a united people finally evolving as a nation.

Dear Aftab Sahib! Thanks for your comments. I appreciate your point of view about continuation of democratic process in which making or un-making coalitions is part of game. Although it is a cliché to say that our country has been in deep trouble, never seen before. But sadly though, I am convinced that if we look the situation around us NOW, it is big reality that Pakistan is undergoing the worst crisis of its history. You have right to hold your opinion but I will opine in my humble capacity because of extremely dangerous situation internally and externally, one party can not steer country out of this quagmire.
Surely you and I can only exchange ideas and with that we can not get our wishes implemented.... As you said, let it be the PPP at the helm of affairs, I am all prayful for them but I put my fingers crossed about their success in coping with the gravest problems. I wished the PML (N) might have been on board for some years, two or three.
Mr. Saeed! Thanks for your comments.

Mr. Sidhu,
You have simplified a extremely complex political, security situation. I like it to some extent.

Aftab Bhai
MashaAllah recently I noticed a clarity in your views, I like it. Keep up the good work.
Aftab I very much miss political princess Ms. Benazir Bhutto ( with some reservations ) and Mr. Musharaf from political arena. I believe it could be a majestic political show, great for the country, if worked out the way it was origionally desighned.
As you said political process must continue, and complete it's due course, if nation wish a true democratic system. We have a lot to learn though.

Naeem Sahib, I have been saying it all along that the message has been brought home and all those who occupy the presidency and primer ministership henceforth know that they may not interfere with our judiciary from now henceforth, the mission has been accomplished. And yes, Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry has rendered a great service to this nation and I am sure that history will honour his name and will always be associated with those, those few, public servants who have justified their presence in public life in Pakistan. I agree with you that it's time that supreme national interest prevails over personalalities.

I must raise one point over the coalition and its breakup. In my view, when they had agreed to form the coalition it was worth giving it a shot and now when they realized that it did not function. This also, in my view, is not end of the world. This is how democracy functions, you try one thing together, you agree and you also disagree. The process must continue. A strong and vigillent, and sincere I might add, opposition has a very important role in making democracy a viable option. This must continue and we must encourage the active players to just continue and play by the rule and make this a successful journey towards a better democracy. If PPP finds Zardari ideal for presidency, give them a chance to prove it; if he is less than what is expected or can be expected then he knows, they know and we all know it how to get rid of those not desired.
