The Pakistani Spectator

Afghans are tough, religious, independent, armed and they have been facing attacks from their North for the last three thousands of years. Whereas the more than two or three years of American generations have been raised in fast food, jazz, casinos, free sex and nightlife and academics. Where Afghans knows what it takes to kill and to be killed, the Americans are soft and just know how to soft it out and how to torture someone in far away and safe places like Gitmo.

Afghans have entangled the world’s sole super power  in their hinterland, like they did with the British and the Russians and it seems that the decline of this giant of a power is destined in these barren areas. In these circumstances, the Pakistani rulers must also change their priorities and look elsewhere too.

There is Russia, China, India and Latin American countries. This world is heading for sure towards a multi polar world. Pakistan must not once again become just stooge of America, rather we should go with all the super powers, like India did very skillfully with USSR and USA in the last century.  We need very very high standards of diplomacy.
