Time to Abandon Antediluvian Patriarchs

By Ali Yar Khan • Sep 4th, 2008 • Category: Politics • One Response

Years after years, government after governments, Martial laws after martial laws, the people of Pakistan have seen with agony and disappointment the failures, corruptions and prevaricated promises of their politicos and tyrants and now they have abondoned almost all of them, including the religious parties.

Pakistani people are long questioning their actual say in the state of affairs. They are living with no no faith whatsoever in the institution that make up the pillars of the state and they have not a grain of belief in their leaders, elected or non-elected. They wonder as how their rulers become rulers, even when they didn’t really vote on the election day, and how the winning and routing occurred, when they rejected everybody.

In the population of almost 180 million, we cannot find a team of dozen honest, dynamic, brave, steadfast, sagacious and able people to lead us through? Why we revert to same old faces and why they consider us so cheap and gullible that they always put forward the same slogans even in the same old packing.  This is the lan where people have become fedup of every living and “martyred” politician.

  1. “Antediluvian Patriarchs” (the early patriarchs who lived prior to the Noachian deluge)

Yaar Khan Sahib, what are you talking about, can you, please, elaborate this a little for ordinary mortals?
