Thinking Leaders Needed
By Salman Mugsi • Oct 29th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 8 CommentsThere is no doubt that this is the most difficult times for Pakistan. The administrative and the military infrastructure is under attack and the morale of the public is all time low. Democracy was hope which has diminished and people have stopped caring.
In these difficult times for the country, the leaders are safely tucked. President Zardari and the Premier Gilani are under huge custody in their palaces and the Nawaz Sharif, the opposition leader has just come back after one month and now safely parked in Raiwind Palace. Other leaders like Imran Khan, Chaudhry Shujaat, Fazlur Rehman and the rest are also pampered well in their iron studded cages.
Leaders have disappointed the nation. The nation which is on the roads becoming the target of the terrorists. Leaders did not come out with anything new nor could they suggest any concrete measures that Pakistan should take to swiftly overcome various crises, above all the terrorism.
The history has proved that it is only brave people and nations that opt for the silver lining in the dark clouds, while the others take shelter under a roof that is essentially not their own. Pakistanis are resilient and hopeful, while their leaders are ready to fly away to London or Dubai.

KEEP HOPE ALIVE.
BUT MUST GET RID OF THESE So called Leaders. One was a Bhaghora from the country and other was a Jail house Criminal and doing Politics on his Susral’S Name.
For God sake dont call them our leaders.
Thy are opportunists who always look for best time to play their games.
Give these people a few yrs and they will forget (yet again) how coward and shrewed these so called ‘leaders’ and ‘torch-bearers of democracy’ were. This is the unfortunate plight of our nation
If we can democratically elect as President a proven corrupt hound who was dubbed ‘Mr. 10 percent’ and spent around about a decade in jail - solely on sentimental reasons, then we really don’t understand or deserve democracy.
He is dramatically elected President by unseen hands.Our disposable president usually come by creating some high class drama.
Musharraf also occupied president seat by creating drama in air and zardari had come by creating dramatic sympathies on unknown will of Bhutto.
Thinking (and) Leader(ship):
these two qualities dont come in one package these days
No wonder democracy never survived in your nation. So impatient. It is not the leaders, it is people like you who screwed up your country. It takes time for democratic institutions to set in, if you are not happy with the current leadership, then vote them out but you guys except magic to be created from decades of mess your previous dictators created.
By showing your impatience and displeasure, you Pakistani’s give enough excuse for the Army to come back and whatever democracy is growing, is destroyed again. How many times will you guys keep repeating the circle?
You have elected them, so support their decisions for the next 5 years or put pressure on your local representative to change their policies. Monkeys did not become Humans in a few years. It took time.

And aren’t the Pakistani public foolish enough to fall for them every time!
The problem with our mind-set on the whole is that we are an emotional and ‘deeply-driven-by-religion’ nation who think with their hearts more than their heads.
@7
Please tell me what is contribution of people of Pakistan who never and ever thought of return of king kong back to cripple the PPP aganda again.
This time I am sure no emotional game was played as it only disturbed PPP jiyalas that bhutto has gone, other wise people were quite cold on daylight murder of Benazir as they were aware od her corruption details and deals with establishments.
That was the only reason she had to take such deadly security risk to reduce the enlarged gap between people’s sentiments and her absence from country in comfortable heaven.Somebody say it correctly that sometime we need our blood to wash our sins and mistakes and God given her full opportunity to did like that,
