These Landlords of Pakistan….

We can criticize and bash the media for many things justifiably, but there are times when you really get amazed when they do something really exceptional.
The moment of Pakistan People’s Party candidate Waheeda Shah slapping the polling staff during the by-pools in Tando Muhammad Khan was captured by the media eye and telecasted almost immediately without any editing to the populace and that was enough to spark anger across the country. Even in the backward and feudal infested and controlled area of Tando Muhammad Khan, people came out and showed their anger.
They way Waheeda Mustandee was slapping and thumping fists on the faces of the lady polling depicted the rudeness and aloofness of these waderas. Yes, almost all of them in assemblies are like this and they have little respect for the masses out there. Ironically, it seems that this Waheeda would win the elections, and that’s sad, very sad and its about time that the people of Pakistan especially in the rural areas understand that they are themselves signing their insult warrants.
And it remains to be seen what Election Commission of Pakistan does in this regard.

It’s really a moment of serious thinking that if Waheeda Shah is declared as a successful candidate, in the bye election of her area every strong candidate may show a similar behavior in the coming elections & 20th amendment will certainly prove to be a joke with Pakistanis. The case registered against Waheeda Shah & the police S.H.O standing & watching her slapping & thumping the election staff doesn’t need any evidence after media has advertised the scene by all angles. Waheeda Shah must be declared ineligible & jailed for trying to take the law in her hand. Similarly the male & female police staff watching the scene but not stopping Waheeda Shah from this action must be suspended from their posts. This is necessary to ensure rule of law which so far PPPP govt has totally failed to implement. The opposition is required to take a firm stand on the issue & not prove themselves as part of this horrible game. This is necessary for Pakistan’s existence as well.
This is democracy and the mean waheeda shah would be democratic elected member of Sindh provincial assembly.
Allah save Pakistan from such democracy and democratic elected representative. Please bring back Musharraf’s dictatorship (so caleed)
