The Way Forward
By Muskan Hina • Oct 13th, 2008 • Category: Politics, Worth A Second Look • 5 CommentsNo matter how many Friends of Pakistan, our beggar rulers manage to accumulate under the roof over the years, and no matter how many billion dollars they manage to receive in alms, even the $700 billion in bailout would be like drops in the desert for the Pakistani economy.
Never a beggar becomes independent and financial liberated. Never a beggar becomes chooser, and mater of his own destiny. Never a beggar achieves any esteem and respect. Beggar always remain a beggar.
Instead of looking obnoxiously towards the United States, United Kindgom, United Emirates and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we must look to ourselves. It would be hard, but it is the only way to go, if we want to survive in the long run. We cannot go forever like this.
We should as a nation break the “Kushkol”. A national government is needed. A thinktank must be formed comprising of Pakistani economist from the world over, which should work in the small hours and present a short, medium and long term strategy for the solid economy of Pakistan. Agriculture and industry must be given priority. Extreme austerity must be observed in the national life starting from the top. Education to all, everywhere in Pakistan must be made mandatory.
Peace is the commodity which has become rare in the country, and our rulers must work for it. Economic stability cannot be ushered, until the peace comes, and peace cannot come until the terrorism ends, and terrorism cannot be eliminated until we stop toeing the American line.
We have to get rid of militancy and terrorism, but on our terms, and not according to the dictations of USA and UK, and we will not tolerate the nefarious pressures from India and Israel, who are working covertly. But to slap the enemies in the face with full might, first we have to become autonomous from within.

Kagha Sub Tun Khaio Chun chun khaio mass
doo nainaan mut khaio mohay pia milan ki aas
It doesn’t take much to learn
when the bridges that you burn
Leave you stranded feeling alone
It doesn’t take much to cry
when you’re living in a lie
And deceiving that someone who cares
If I could turn back the time
I would put you first in my life And I would risk it all for you
to prove my love is true
I’ll build a wall around my heart
that would only break apart for you
Can change the way I feel
so tell me what’s the deal
Don’t say
Don’t say it’s too late
And now
The hills are getting hard to climb
I’m runnin’ out of time
My decisions are pending on you
And I will accept the blame
for burnin’ out the flame
Hoping the story will twist once again
If I could turn back the time
I would put you first in my life
Now I’m
Layin’ it all on the line
Don’t say
Don’t say it’s too late

Ibne,
What a poem man! You realy surprise me with your talent.
Again Muskan
you are blaming USA,UK,India and Isreal but not your own faults. I hear your ruling class in Islamabad doesnot even allow school bus because they want to show their paderos!!!
You donot need a committee to know your problems.Ordinary people of Pakistan can easily tighten their belts but the ruling class?
Hi Muskan,
You are absolutely right. Pakistan is a beggar and I think will always remain a beggar. Also let me add, Pakistan is also a ‘ahsaan faramosh’. You guys first beg and than bark at people who gives you the change.
Change yourself. Infact prostitutes are better than beggars.
