The Present State of Uncertainty

By M. Waqas (Ex MPA) • Oct 24th, 2008 • Category: Politics • 6 Comments

Pakistani’s are passing through a phase of uncertainty, almost in every sphere of life. The situation is deteriorating day by day. Situation like this, need to be addressed properly by capable, confident, and committed leadership. Unfortunately so far, the present leadership failed to deliver in this regard .Consequently the whole nation is disappointed.

Situation is grave on economic front, law and order is vanished and there is complete disorder and suicide bombers are the worst thing ever happened in the history of Pakistan.

Questions are how to establish the confidence of nation? How to handle the economic situation? How to establish writ of the government? And give the sense of security to human beings of the motherland. How to address the power shortage? How to tackle the international front? And achieve a respectable position for ourselves in the comity of nations.

In my opinion the situation needs complete overhauling of the system. Our decision making process need the first and foremost attention. Present in camera session of the parliament proved to be a futile exercise due to vague and incomplete information, distrust among major stake holders and lake of interest amongst legislatures.

Media is adding fuel to the fire by presenting negative picture, especially Geo and kammran khan are the biggest rumours spreading agencies in the present time. It is time not to criticise only, but to provide solutions and build confidence in the nation, not to shatter it at the cost of their self interest or the interest of their donors.

Our political leaders should sit together, take united decisions on all these issues and instead of scoring numbers and cheap publicity, join hands to save the nation from complete disaster.

  1. This author must mention when this uncertainties started and who are responsible for this. I think because of his inner biased and partialism, he is ashamed to mention the stability, progress and development Pakistan was enjoyiong during Musharraf era.

Its a shame for anyone who write something without portraying true picture of whole scenario and such a person does not deserve to pick the pen if he can’t maintain its sanctity.

  5. Waqas,
You did not read the first para or you did not understand it. Everybody know that before March 2007 everything was perfect and Pakistan was much stable and progressing well under the leadership of Musharraf but soon conspiracies started against him in order to dysfunctionalised the govt. for their vested interests and that was the time when uncertainty started prevailing in the country.

As an MPA , this is your responsiblity to mention the names of people/culprits who have brought Pakistan in this state of uncertainty and economical debacle and give the hint of near past as well.

  6. well, the situation happens in my country too. If Pakistani political leaders sit together for the nations, our leaders sit together for money. I don’t which one is worst, my country or yours..
