On 28 January 2010 when on one hand President of U.S Barrack H. Obama addressed his nation and on the other hand International Conference on Afghanistan took place in London at Lancaster Hall.
Pin pointing the issues from both major events
- Barack H.Obama said he will be pulling out the forces from Iraq soon and then start a process of pulling out the force from Afghanistan and handing over the complete security forces to Afghan Administration.
Speaking of London conference on Afghanistan
- Pulling out international forces from Afghanistan and handing over the security to Afghan forces and the process will start this year (2010) under the policy of “DISTRICT-TO-DISTRICT” and this process will be ending completely in the next 5 years.
- On this occasion president of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai requested the World Nations not to pull out the International Forces permanently and should stay in Afghanistan for at least 15 years more.
- Its was also concluded that international forces will equip Afghan forces with the latest machinery, technology, weapons and training.
- Another major decision taken at the Conference was a peace talk process with Talibans and offer them place in Afghan Government, Jobs, Home and lots of Dollars. List is not finished yet Hamid Karzai wants Taliban to be taken off UN blacklist and indeed he has done this with several top most wanted Taliban Leaders by forcing UN to take off their names from its BLACK LIST.
Direct effects on Pakistan
- We have core issue with Afghanistan since the formation of Pakistan and that issue is the Durand line. That is disputed border territory claimed by both Afghanistan and Pakistan and British Indian forces in 1919 have fought a war over it and then the newly born Pakistan bombed Afghans in an air raid in 1948. This issue is still unresolved and after equipping Afghan forces this Durand line issue will get hyped and Afghan forces will easily threat Pakistan in this regard.
- More importantly the influx of AL-Qaida will shift from Afghanistan towards Pakistan and Pakistan may become another safe haven and home of Al-Qaida. While on one hand Afghan Taliban seems to make peace and patch-up with the Afghan government and the USA and in Pakistan we have several prominent forces having soft corner and support for Taliban and Al-Qaida in Pakistan. So it can easily be predicted that Pakistan will become Al-Qaida and Taliban’s safe haven and home.
- Afghan President Hamid Karzai has insisted that International Forces remain in Afghanistan for at least 15 years more. A question arises, why would he need extra force when he has well equipped force of his own.
- It is because they have bad intentions towards Pakistan over Durand line issue and they know that Pakistan will become safe haven of Al-Qaida and will become easier for them to raid Pakistan when ever they want to either on the issue of Al-Qaida or Durand line or Cross border terrorist activities.
- In Both cases we are going to lose Durand line. When ever in future Afghanistan will be attacked by terrorism, Afghanis will be claiming that terrorists are coming from Pakistan and they are crossing the borders from Durand line and the Afghan security forces are well equipped and trained to control the border on the Durand line.
- There is also an un-discussed threat and that is India having very close ties with Afghanistan since India’s independence. India and Afghanistan are jointly involved in Baluchistan and they are also involved in the separatist movement of Baluchistan. More importantly India has military ties with Afghanistan and recently India has signed a pact with the Afghans for the military co-operation. Taking it seriously India is looking forward to train new Afghan security forces including Police and Army. Afghanistan seems to be quiet comfortable with the setting.
Not only Pakistan will suffer but Afghanistan will also suffer from this situation in the future. When Al-Qaida will shift from Afghanistan towards Pakistan Completely, they will be targeting Afghanistan and threatening their civilians and forces’ life just like they are doing in Pakistan right now. So world leaders should sit together and look for a permanent solution for these crises.

I see eye to eye with Mohammad Ali — US Administration, their Media & above all her respective troops suffer post-war trauma at Iraq & at some scale at Afghanistan & Pakistan — but mine direct question to the Ruling Elite of this country as — Are they Ready to take any Lesson from the same or Just Hum the Song of Biggest Ally of America in this War Against Terror still against few of dollars.
I love my country & above all Islam but kindly do not label to any one who tries to show the true picture of Injustice of our Horrible Social, Security & Political Set Up. Otherwise as the followings parted this country earlier & what will happen this time?
I know many get upset as & when Bitter Reality is appeared before Rank & File what I usually say but you should know projects of Kiyani, Gellani & Zardari regarding American Presence here moreover the facts are what Pakistan went down to crisis. We have a huge debt & quiet mentionable part of it goes to the Royal Style Maintenance of their lifestyle.

According to reliable sources Indians were welcome at Northern Afghanistan tentatively 15 to 17% of Local Population although accepted but with some serious reservations Indians Presence mostly War Lords or Opium Cultivators or their associates rest of Afghans they deadly hatred with Indians as a result every 2nd Month Indians are Killed brutally over there.
