The Bombshell of Faisal Shahzad may Not be the Last in Series

The entire year of 2009 can be said that it was a year full of turmoil for Pakistan. But with the arrival of New Year 2010, there started blowing a different type of breeze. During three month preceding April; it could be felt a mark reduction in suicidal actions; rather by now it was reduced to minimum. In troubled areas like FATA; Waziristan, Military seems to be in full control.
Mean while Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani had gone to Washington for US nuclear conference. The man was received very well in the international community. Pak Army was also praised for their valour and effective operations. The courage and sacrifices for fighting the war against terror; Pakistani nation was being counted as the most resilient and stead fast in the face of terrorism. Overall a sense of appreciation helped building up of a good Pakistani image.
Conference showed a confidence in Pakistan that its nuclear assets were safe and being very well guarded. President Obama also issued a very encouraging statement and vouch safe for the security of nuclear weapon that once this used to be a matter of contention and international community feared that somehow terrorist will take over these weapon… and it may cause a mass destruction especially in the cities of western world….but now this perception was seen totally fading out. So well, so good- it was all looking a hanky-dory.
But it was simply a matter of Prime Minister Entourage reaching back home that everything started going topsy-turvy… as some ghosts of terror had revisited Pakistan.
All of a sudden the suicidal attacks were increased in many fold; jolting almost every major city and repeating scenes of devastation and carnage everywhere. Even the places like Swaat and Malakand where peace was guaranteed by Army after a successful completion of operation Rah e Rast; There it also brought a news of utter suicidal carnage.
This carnage did not come alone; the UN Team report of BB Assassination also came along as a bomb shell. UN Report graded Pakistan as the most inefficient country governed by nincompoop and inept stooges who invariably failed to save guard their most revered and beloved leader Ms Benazir Bhutto back in December 2007. Pak army and its intelligence forces that are envied even by the top intelligence organisation of the world for their excellent demonstrated performances were grossly under mined in this report and their executive singled out by name. They are degraded and are named and shamed. This is also worth noticing that why President Asif Ali Zardari asked UN team to delay this report till such time Prime Minister arrives back home from Washington.
Mean while a head line report came that TTP commander Hakim Ullah Mahsud since reported killed in US Drone attach some months back is back on the scene, alive. He issued a dire warning in his latest video to the Pak army hold them responsible for all the consequences. He specifically announced that now TTP will be attacking right at heart of America in New York and Washington cities. Soon after this a former ISI Officer Khalid Khwaja who reportedly had gone to see Taliban top commander was killed by Taliban for spying for American and his body was left on the road side. A hatred for American was evident.
As this all was not enough that a new bombshell of New York, Time square bombing plot by a Pakistani born Faisal Shahzad is dropped. With a speed of electric he was traced out and very dramatically was disembarked right at the tarmac from the plane ready to take off for Dubai. Although this was just a fire cracker crude sort of bomb but it did make the head line news, high lighting with reference to Shahzad’s previous visits to Pakistan.
In the tantalizing episode to fill the series of disasters it comes with another bombshell; indicting Pakistan as well as the Pakistani born; Amir Ajmal kassab, the lone survivor of Mumbai attack of 26/11; he is awarded a death penalty for waging a war against India and carrying out an indiscriminate carnage killing some 56 persons by himself alone.
Are these occurrences just incidental and they kept on falling in place just one after other by chance—and one is bound to think that where do they lead us to?
We will be morbid fools not to comprehend that above all incidents are released or made to happen as per some measured plan and all the acts/ events and incidents are pointing to one single direction—-Pakistan;
· That terrorism is potent as ever. It is alive’ and Pakistan remains the epicentre of the terrorism,
· Recent clip in this episode — the cracker bomb plot by Faisal Shazad at Time square is seen expanding the radius of terrorism and strengthens this idea that after Al Qaeda, TTP has the capability to execute and control the operations abroad even in United States from the soil of Pakistan.
· This also leaves an impression that Pak Armed forces are finding themselves bogged down while pitched against TTP and may not be in full command and control in the country. It shows their inability which means that Nuclear weapon remain vulnerable and up for the grab.
Whereas the entire picture seems bleak; the recent orchestration of Bombshell of Faisal Shahzad the latest segment in the episode may not be the Last in the Series

Why single out Islam and Muslim world ?.
Nowadays terrorism has spread its tentacles in Hinduism, Christianity and Judaism so why don’t we blame these religions too but that’s not the point because no religion preaches its followers to terrorize innocent people. There are only few people who bring bad name to their religion.

There can be some three dimensions or sides to this incident. Or say to this plan of carnage to create a sconce of havoc in place like Time square in New York:
1. A Terrorist ACT as claimed by TTP (Tehrik e Taliban Pakistan a CIA brain child) that reportedly they are boasting around that they planned all this and that they even can target well in the heart of America.
2. The Man has been Radicalised. Any American citizen as Mr Shahzad is; when ever he/she visits a war zone like the one we have in Tribal area in Pakistan. It is but essential that after seeing the destruction and carnage being brought to the innocent people owing to the atrocious acts of USA by the Drone attacks and other CIA covert subversive operation being carried out by TTP of CIA inside Pakistan. It is likely to stir the conscious of any human being and that he may turn against USA and indulge in such sort of activities.
3. The Third Dimension is the Covert Operations that a man who fits all the grounds to be a covert; common US citizen problem; no job, loss of house and meagre amount available to run the life; he is selected by CIA; which is not unusual and has been involved in this terrorist act of violence that makes the most crude pathetic type of car bomb; a recipe from the “Anarchist Cook Book” that it make a big news but does not explodes.
Considering the arguments as explained in the original article above the third dimension may be the most befitting and we discuss it out.

In this TPS(Pak spectaor), it is Brigadier Zaman ( considered to be a senior retired ISI officer) who requested Americans to use drones to kill Amir of TTP Baitullah Mehsud . He even blamed Americans for not killing Mehsud inspite of Pakistani Airforce giving GPS coordinates of his present location. though the same pakistani Airforce used helicopter gunships to kill Nawab of Bugti and others. When finally baitullah Mehsud was killed, you are saying that is creating anger amongst Americans of Pakistani origin when they visit the place!!!!!What Hypocrisy.
It is Hakeemullah Mehsud who created Chapman post massacre in Afghanistan in retaliation for Baitullah’s killing and maericans retaliated by targetting him.

This is certainly CIA Covert Operations that Faisal is a man who fits all the criteria to be a covert. This leaves behind Pakistan; an ambitious and potent Islamic nuclear state in charge of this region. US as well as India may well be desirous to strengthen the prevalent perception that Pakistan remains prone to the Terrorist attacks and her nuclear weapons be taken away from Pakistan or at least kept under a special international vigilance body where practically Pakistan is seen defanged.
Considering the arguments explained above the third dimension may be the most appropriate and befitting and we may discuss it out.

As it has come to the light and accepted by US administration also that Faisal Shahzad indulged in this act of terrorism— as a lone wolf.
Why he did so?
This is quite debateable; — but as a desperate needy man as he was; that he lost his house for not having a suitable job and had a meagre amount at hand for living. Person like him can always fell prey to any trap.
It is quite possible he became a covert agent and took this job—-whom he may find it most exciting and rewarding job he had ever known and enter a new field in his life. this reward he may receive, may serve him as security for his future too.
This is very surprising that a disgruntled US citizen like Faisal Shazad who lost his job, his house and have got some two demanding kids at home; when he went out with a load full of crude incinerating material in a car like Pathfinder to make it a mega show in place like Time Square.
This is absurd that the entire media and government officials they straight away linked this with- God forsaken place where Al Qaeda or Taliban are said to be living? The place where to get even a can of coke is a Hercules job for the day.
Why can’t we check it at our home? US have got lot many home-grown extremist that they would like to settle their scores.
This act of Faisal sahzad shows nothing except this that how desperate the people in US feel.
Although linking of this incident to Pakistan or Taliban may strengthen the US and its allies usual pretext to give the Taliban some more beatings or ratchet up the usual rhetoric to pressurize and mount on Pakistan—- with the hope that war which is lost being a unwinnable war may be turned into some face saving victory. But this looks most absurd as it could be.

Holder’s comments came as the New York Times reported that the United States warned Pakistan it must crack down on Islamic extremists or face severe consequences.
General Stanley McChrystal, the US commander in Afghanistan, urged Pakistan’s General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani in Islamabad on Friday to quickly begin a military offensive against the Pakistani Taliban and Al-Qaeda in North Waziristan.
John Brennan, the White House deputy national security adviser, echoed Holder’s charges, pointing the finger at the Pakistani Taliban in an interview with CNN.
“It looks like he was working on behalf of the TTP, the Pakistani Taliban,” Brennan said.
“This group is closely allied with Al Qaeda. This is something that we’re taking very seriously.””’

Even just for argument sake if we agree that Faisal Shahzad was working for Teherik e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and he plotted this bomb at Time Squares on their behalf; (reportedly at one stage this was claimed by TTP.)
Then question arises that what is this Tehrik E Taliban (TTP), they work for whom and what are their motives.
Matter of the fact is that this Tehrik is the brain child of CIA; which is financed, supported, trained and guided by CIA. They are payrole of CIA. The main aim of this Tehrik is to deplete Pakistan; through extensive subversive actions; draw in its military forces in the areas of their choice and make them thin out on different fronts and to prove that in the state of anarchy nuclear weapons of Pakistan remain vulnerable.
With these goals in mind TTP was asked to carry out an extensive subversive attacks. Hundreds of suicidal actions and bomb blasts have so far been carried out by TTP in almost all the cities in Pakistan.
The main Military General Headquarters and other military installations have also been made as targets.
Ex-President Pervez Musharraf was also attacked some three times; many people’s travelling along with him were killed but somehow the man survived. Ex-prime minister Shauakat Aziz was also attacked.
Miss Benazir Bhutto- ex-prime Minister happened to be their next target and she was not lucky eneough to survive her assassinated attempt in December 2007.
Whereas the crudest bomb installed at Time square which was certainly not meant to explode—is just a ploy to pressurize Pakistan and divert the attention of Pak Armed Forces to yet another target in Northern Waziristan.
Pak Military has their reservations not to undertake this operation lest they find themselves too thinned out on ground.Its major forces are already committed in other areas. Pak military has the priority to consolidate its positions where ever they are and undertake next operations subsequently.
Anyhow the prime aim of TTP and CIA remains that Pakistan be pressurised and asked to over commit its forces so that TTP has got a free hand to carry out yet more subversive attacks.
Supposedly next target of TTP is likely to be somewhere in the out skirts of the locations where Pakistan’s nuclear installations are located.
Look at the very statement of Eric Holder.
He says: “We’ve now developed evidence that shows that the Pakistani Taliban was behind the attack,” Holder said on ABC’s current affairs talk show “This Week”.
This phrase says it all; nowadays they develop evidence, they do not obtain it; they develop it.
What a crafty man?
Pakistan does remain as the epicenter of terrorism and we despite of all our efforts have failed to curtail it. Why so? Perhaps because we are fighting extremism only in terms of conventional battle and we have failed to addresses the militant propaganda or to dilute the venom of religious extremism in our society. Unless we chalk down reform policies them society will keep getting intolerant.
