By Dan Tow • Jun 3rd, 2009 • Category: Politics, Worth A Second Look

As far as I know, I do not have cancer, but over two years ago, cancer struck to the heart of my family, and it profoundly affects our daily lives, today. I don’t want this blog to be about me, however, and I must protect the privacy of others, so I won’t go into personal [...]

Growing Threat of Talibanisation: The Enemies Within

By Guest Blogger • Apr 10th, 2009 • Category: Politics

“When a great democracy is destroyed, it will not be from enemies from without, but rather because of enemies from within.”
The above thought provoking statement is an excerpt from a famous speech by an American politician, who was warning his nation of the dangers posed by communism. Even though, Pakistan is still a long way from [...]

Pakistan Political Culture: The Need for Systematic Chaos

By Ibad ur Rehman Ahmed • Mar 20th, 2009 • Category: Politics, Worth A Second Look

I vouch for change.
I vouch for educating the masses; education that corresponds to awareness of the fundamental rights that every citizen has by virtue of the constitution regardless of how distorted and amended it appears over paper.
I vouch for a people who will not allow feudalism to influence their choice and will stand up against injustice.
I vouch for a people who will not come out on the streets just because they loved the fiery speeches of a leader and the fake promises made in them only to be let down and to reinstate him as their chief just because there was no other representative to elect.
I vouch for better retrospection and the importance of not forgetting what history has taught us.

With a much more informed media and a decidedly less partisan judiciary with a want to be more independent, we should spread awareness and consequently use, our rights to freedom of expression and association. To continually remind our leaders, that they rule but only to serve.

Aliens Do Exist

By Talal Hussain Malik • Mar 15th, 2009 • Category: Politics

YOU’D believe in their existence too, especially after hearing Rehman Malik’s pointless statements that he’s been giving to the media trying to brush aside the shame that the current situation has caused the government. To be specific, Rehman Malik has repeatedly said, in very innocent way at times, that no one is being blocked from [...]

Pakistan achieves yet another milestone - The Lahore Chapter

By Farrukh Ahmed • Mar 3rd, 2009 • Category: Politics

Don’t mind my sarcastic title on the post, but honestly that’s what we’ve come to as a nation.
With the breaking news starting off the day on yet another sad note about the attack on Sri Lankan Cricket Team in Lahore, we’ve shown the world once again that we deserve to be called a Terrorist State.
Every [...]

If I recall my personnel observation from my previous exposure to examined such prisoners, I would add to the chapter of verses that such patient have weight lost ,with massive muscle wasting along with disoriented thoughts in terms of time and space and inability to withstand their own weight and balance along with dislike of light .
