Creativity, style, luxury, art, passion and sophistication were on display as Lahore witnessed the grand launch of Hamza Tarar’s flagship studio in Pakistan: CasaHamza on July 8. After a long time, and a string of some good, some average, and some downright dismal events that we have attended this summer, there was something really exquisite to look forward to as the who’s who of Lahore thronged to an exclusive viewing of Hamza’s ravishing new studio at 14-XX, DHA.

Lahoris came in healthy numbers together to support the cause of the Internally Displaced People of SWAT in the IDP Charity Concert organized at Royal Palm, Lahore. The event had memorable and impressive performances by Coven, Meekal Hassan, Caramel, and Overload!

Review - The IDP Charity Concert

Not many know that the IDP Charity Concert held last month came together in barely a week’s time! Interestingly, Partylicious heard about the event 5-6 days before its D-Day when we were sitting down for an informal chatter with Adnan Sarwar of Racing Pakistan. When he told us that efforts were being made to make this concert happen in a matter of 5 days, we eyed him doubtfully and then his green tea wondering if it had been spiked or something. 5 days only? Why not give it another week’s cushion? “The people who need our assistance can’t wait, then how can we. It will happen for sure,” he had said with a glint of hope and conviction in his eyes.

And happen it did!
