Irrespective of the party affiliation and the vested interests, a typical parliamentarian must strive his or her best to achieve the following objectives while present in the house. He must make sure that:

Government should treat everyone fairly.
Hard work should be rewarded.
Government should stay out of people’s private lives.
Government should keep it’s promises.
