Supreme Court issues notice to Musharraf for July 29

Musharraf being army chief declared emergency in the country on Nov,3rd overthrowing Chief justice of the country and 60 other judges of superior courts.
At the time, Supreme court was already hearing a case regarding the legitimacy of Musharraf being elected President again while still holding the position of Army chief.
Even before court could give its verdict, Musharraf packed the whole supreme court and appointed docile judges who later confirmed Musharraf action of imposing emergency as legal.

So Nov 3 act was unconstitutional and developments under Nov 3 ? Elections ? Oaths, Agreements and other developments under dictator’s regime ? I hope everything will be undone. I hope CJ’s endorsement of Musharraf’s 1999 coup will also be taken into consideration and things happened in past. Indeed justice should be for all.

Why only former President Musharraf? ? If the courts are so interested in making example of military dictators, they should try Zia and Yahya Khan and award posthumous punishments, such as disinterment of the remains of these dictators and dumping them on garbage.
How can one call it a new dawn and consider it a moment of celebration. After all President Musharraf was the best of all military rulers, he didn’t hang an elected Prime Minister, and did a great many good things for our nation. So then why the courts are after him?
This CHief Corrupt Chaudhry’s days are counted. He will bring the democratically Elected Govt down and pays the way for another dictator(who will give freedom of speech and judiciary) as Musharaf did the fredom of Media, Fredom of Criticizm etc. These BA LLB’s are working against the intrest of Pakistan. Every one in Pakistani Tribe should be Forward looking, they still have serious problem for the Tribes survival.

Chowdhary Iftekhar is a paid judge of Nawaz Sharif and obeying all his orders and giving judgments that suits him(NS).
Very strange—- even the Supreme Courts of Pakistan has also started making fool of Pakistani peoples. The ex-President Pervez Musharraf was the President of Pakistan duly accepted and validated by the Supreme Courts of Pakistan.
Where the man has been asked to give his reasoning and explain that why he felt necessary to bring about; seemingly a stern action that he took on 3 November and declared an emergency in the country?
Here declaring of emergency in a country and whether it was President prerogative or not—- that may not be the question but it is also pertinent to note that his 3 November action was duly validated by the supreme court of the day. Where as the president is being taken to the task and asked to put up his explanation—- why this larger bench of court must not be asking the then CJP that why after all he validated his action ad under which law and regulation?
Will his Highness the chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Choudhry who recently got reinstated by the present government will also be kind enough to consider the NRO case and bring the President Zardari and his government on mat also?
Will the CJP will also explain that why after all he himself felt justified to validate the very initial take over in 1999 by General Prevez Musharraf?
Is the act of declaration of emergency in the country is much more a heinous crime than the take over of country by a military action? Has just the absurdity become the only way of our lives in Pakistan?

Nawaz Sharif got a huge fine and some 14 years prison for his crime that court of the day awarded him on the evidences presented in the court. later no Charge has ever been refuted or eroded but President Musharraf while exercising his powers, in a way pardoned the man and Nawaz Sharif also signed an agreement to live an exile life for a given time.
To day few years down the line; Nawaz Shrif Stands clear of all those charges by the supreme court. It is not the case that those very evidences of the subject crime has been refuted or they are not there. They very much stand there but this is expertise crafting and manipulation by the ‘able hired advocates’ that man stands free.
In Pakistani courts only money works.

–took USA’s war for personal gains
–sold soldier’s dead bodies for dollars

–surrendered Dr. Afia Sidiqui to USA, imagine if it were your sister who was raped countless times by countless men, and you lost your nephews , how would you feel, since it wasnt your sister then its OK, no need to feel bad
–allowed Intelleigence to abduct people (The Missing Persons)

so musharrf has only a small list of black deeds, I wonder why would anyone be after his head?
So then why the courts are after him?
President Musharraf is a geat patriot, a man of honour. No matter what decisions the courts issue against him, people won;t accept. Musharraf Sahab shouldn’t pay heed to these biased proceedings. All 14 judges on the SC bench are those dismissed by President Musharraf in 2007. All these judges have their own grudges against the great man. Why doesn’t the court bring to justice the perpetrators of 1997 attack on Supreme Court??
People won’t accept verdicts of the Biased Chaudhry Court!
Remember when a Sindh High bench Court started a biased hearing and how thousands of citizens surrounded the building. The court had to roll back its hearing!

General Musharraf is a national hero. If Islamist Moulvis hate him, we damn care about such extremists!
Afia Siddiqi was not arrested on President Musharraf’s orders. To date his friends is involved indirectly in her release efforts
Akbar Bugti took up weapons against the state, resorted to high treason. He failed to give up and started active resistance. So the Army hit him!
Ok Pres. Musharraf subverted the constitution, but then it was always validated by the courts. Even the Nov 3 act was validated by the Supreme Court of CJ Abdul Hameed Dogar!
Sir Dogar had already endorsed President Musharraf’s Nov 3 emergency just like Sir Iftekhar did endorsed a bigger emergency (Military coup) in 1999. I am still amazed why Dogar Sahab was wrong and why not Iftekhar Sahab ?
