Supercharge Your Job Search With oDesk and Facebook

oDesk is already a fantastic tool for freelancers and web workers, but today they’re getting even more useful. The site that connects buyers (service seekers) with providers (freelancers) is now utilizing Facebook Connect to add social utility to the work force.

With Facebook Connect, oDesk buyers and providers can now share their job-related activity on oDesk with their FacebookFacebook friends, essentially extending the reach and distribution of available job opportunities and spreading the word about their professional expertise.

The Facebook integration will allow oDesk buyers to share any and all job openings from the site. This may sound pretty basic, but having the option to publish newly posted jobs should certainly help reach prospective candidates and aide in the social recruitment process.
