Sunni Tehreek and MQM Skin Each Other Over Skin and Hide Collection
By Salman Mugsi • Dec 10th, 2008 • Category: Politics • 5 CommentsThe Sunni Tehreek (ST) and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), which recently reached an understanding to settle their differences amicably have fought like hell with each other on the streets and doorsteps to gather (read snatch) and run the skins and hides of sacrificial animals in Karachi.
Clashes occurred in areas of Ranchore Line, Lines Area, Usmanabad, Lyari, Bohra Pir, Orangi Town and Majeed Colony and Landhi between the activists of both parties. MQM took the lead and the activists of Sunni Tehreek gave up soon. They tried to setup camps in Majeed Colony and Landhi, but those were also uprooted by the MQM.
Proactively, the Sindh government had tried to find some midway between two parties to avoid clash on this hide-n-skin gathering, and Sunni Tehreek demanded that the above mentioned areas should be opened to ST activists for the collection of sacrificial animals’ hides, but the MQM turned down the demand.
As MQM has managed to gather more skins, so now one can assure oneself that Altaf Bhai could have a new leather jacket with leather muffler and leather socks to face the cruel London winter.

Karachi should Celebrate Eid ul Azha every two months,
this way both MQM and ST will compete each other in a healthy way by beating each other in skin and hide collection.
It will be a financial burden on Karachi but its better than killing innocent people in gang wars.

Its sad when i see my brothers fighting over little things,either MQM or SUNNI TEHREEK we are all brailvi muslims and from mohajir back ground…we need to be united and show some unity against those wahabi,deobandi,salafi kafirs,who are killer of innocent muslims and sunnis.2006 nishter park blast,was done by deobandi wahabi terrorits…so please forget the difference,save our sunni and mohajir community……….wasalam
MQM tried their level best to make the ST escape, and make Karachi NoGo area for ST. 100’s of ST workers, supporters and leaders were killed- but at last the terrorists had to give up.
Thumbs Up to S.T for brave and never ending struggle for Nizam-e-Mustafa in Pakistan.
How ever it is pleasing that both parties are now having fine relationships and its good to see Karachi peacefull.
Lets hope that both parties will put a joint effort, for progress of Karachi, and make Taliban leave karachi.
