Your Blog information is so Good.

During the last century world population increased near four folds and the energy usage multiplied about twenty times. According to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), one of the foremost challenges Pakistan will be facing in future is the supply of adequate energy. According to Vision 2030 of the Planning Commission, the reserves of natural gas, which contribute about 50% of energy to Pakistan, will start declining within the next decade and the storage capacity of dams is reducing due to silting e.g. the capacity of Tarbela Dam has decreased by 27 percent. Some careful estimates expect the demand and supply gap to reach up to 8,000 Mega Watts by 2010.

Dear Faheem Ullah,

Hi,

I m Naveed , from IEC ( Iqbal Engg. Co). We have deployed warid's second solar BTS site with improved version . No doubt site never make the genset in operations since Jan-2009 and also keep site to running on solar from 7:00 AM to 5:00PM. After that it keeps backup to energize site for another 8 Hrs during load shedding.

UPCOMING CONCEPTS.
We are in designing phase of solar based publis tranceport rails which will operated on solar technology and supported by the GENSET back-up . This will not only provided high payback and travelling facilities but also cut down the pollution formed due to the burning of diesel.

Total engineering skills will be utilized from homeland .

Thanking you.

The article is very informative as well as alarming and Pakistan should become warned enough to take some steps to save the state from further damage. Indeed, nature is now explored more and more for sources of energy. In fact sun rays, water and wind is used since quite some time for conversion of energy for human usage.
