Suicidal attacks in Karak– the land of soldiers
By Anwar Jalal • Mar 1st, 2010 • Category: Politics • 3 CommentsThe suicide attack on police station in Karak , the first ever in the district history, is not a good omen It is feared that now on ward Karak - the most peaceful area of Pashtunkhwa so far , may also be a target of the terrorists.
This is naturally a matter of great concern for the people of district Karak , most of whom are well educated and are moderate in their outlook . District Karak is known as the land of soldiers as, many thousands of its people are serving all over the country, in armed forces or in FC and police while numerous of them have sacrificed their lives for the sake of country in the ongoing war against terrorism.
It is fairly supposed that the suicidal attack in Karak will be taken much seriously by the government and all possible arrangements will be made so that no such event is repeated there Just issuing statements of condemnation by the high ups on such events will be useless.

The terrorist attack reflects the level of desperation of the extremist elements, the successful campaign in south Waziristan has forced them to resort to extreme measures, the battle against the militants must carry on until it meets the logical end i.e. eradication of extremism from our society.
