Shujaat Opens Up Against Musharraf

By Sameer Shaharyar • Jun 9th, 2008 • Category: Politics • 5 Comments

Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain is getting fits of frustration over his bleak political future. Though he is a veteran politician, he forgot that whenever a politician sells himself in the hands of a dictator, he becomes a smelling relic for the general public, and that is what Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain has become.

With his PML-Q disintegrating steadily, and with the obvious shift of Musharraf’s attention towards Pakistan People’s Party, the future of PML-Quisling is as bleak as ever. Sheikh Rashid Ahmad couldn’t join PPP, and he was wooed away from PML-N, so he made a Tonga Party Awami Muslim League and now bask in the glory of the past. Mushahid Hussain is also looking sideways, with Wattooo already joined PPPP, and Hamid Nasir Chattha in the quest of grabbing whatever left of PML-Q.

Now Chaudhary Shujaat laments in front of his close aides that Pervez Musharraf has deceived them, and Shujaat claims that Musharraf had already patched up with the leadership of PPP before elections, and the defeat of PML-Q was a planned conspiracy, and the price hike , gas and power load shedding and the breath-taking shortages of flour, sugar and other items were the part of that intrigue against his party, and that is why they were so thoroughly defeated. He complains that now Musharraf is dumping them and propping up PPP in their place.

That is, Mr. Shujaat, the vicissitude of the time. That is what happens to the lotas and turncoats, and that is what happens to the people who prefer their vested interests over the will of the people. That is what happens to the people who make castles in Spain from the graves of innocent girls of Jamia Hafsa in Islamabad.

  1. Ch. Shujaat one concern is valid i.e. PPP is replaced with PMLQ. I don’t know whether plan was successfully executed in last elections or not, but 1 year back I got same news from one of very authentic and reliable source that Agencies have been given task for making field for PPP in next election. Agencies made list and collected data of sources and personalities that can be fruitful for PPP success. I can’t say whether it worked accurately or not because PMLN have won more seats than PPP and Musharraf’s expectations.

We normally thinks that agencies are doing every thing but as I put my feet in it… they only collects data from whole Pakistan (by their designated civilian persons in every street and area) and those reports are then complied at district level and then on provincial level and then on national level and then reaches Head Quarter and from there they makes trend lines of people’s actions and their thinkings. So it helps rulers to decide on the basis of this data and they caters all upcoming threats with their prior planning and implementations. (Military people knows it)

Have you ever noticed that why South Asians always writes word “AZAM” with Mughal Emperor AKBAR and Hindu Emperor ASHOKA. Like Akbar-e-Azam and Ashoka-e-Azam. Reason is One. These 2 emperors were able to control whole South Asia and no other ruler (at small area) was present at their times. They used same strategy of compiling data from all over Great Hindustan and kept full eyes on Nerves of People. Daily data was used to compile and reach in both emperors office on very next morning. They controlled whole HINDUSTAN in true manner. Same in these days is practicing by USA.

  2. Ch Shjuat is still not coming out of trauma that he faced at the eve of 18 Feb.On late nigt of 17 feb they all were gathered at Imran’s massod residence in Gujrat where a serving colonel called him and assured their victory.Till fajr prayers they were busy in distrubiting ministries and portfolios to their blue boys, but things got 180 degree turn when actual results had come out. They started more angry to Musharsf as he was trying to replace them with another gujrati character Ahmed mukthar who is now moving rapidly to ruin their rein even in gujrat constituency. The people who are not aware of the gujrat culture must know that chaudry culture is same there as we have altaf bhai culture in Karachi(like mafia, iinculding bhatta, land and gang terror).Chaudry like people would remain attach with ruling mafia as they have widely distributed their assets by all hook and crook means in whole Pakistan. So for securing their billion rupees assets they have to stick with corrupt mafia and at this time Zardari is here for giving them shelter under his NRO umbrella. So they ar’nt in mood of missing the train.

  3. Saleem Khan, did the rulers Ashoka and Akbar rule “whole of South Asia” as you claim ? (South Asia comprises these countries: Pakistan, Afghnistan, Iran, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Tibet, Nepal, Chagos Islands, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives).

Where did to you read Ashoka being addressed as “AZAM” ?

  4. What you will call “Ashoka The Great” and “Akbar The Great” in your own language. Its same like Sikandar-e-Azam….. you you will hardly find same word in International Books.

As far your point regarding South Asian countries are concerned, Afghanistan and Tibet are not counted in South Asia. If today they have joined SAARC then it not means they became South Asian Country. Its geographical location which defines Name of any area. Afghanistan is mostly considered as Middle East region. Their culture and society is more tilted toward Arabic Culture…Not toward Hindustani Culture. I think I used word Hindustan also. Even if I not used any word….these Emperors names are enough to understand which location I’m discussing in my comments. ” naam he kafi hai…. Wavessss”. :)

  5. For Mr. Aftab S. Alam

    Differences in definitions:

The definition of South Asia can vary greatly from person to person. Most sources accept Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Chagos Islands, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka as South Asian. Most of the controversy originates over Afghanistan, Iran, and Tibet. Afghanistan and Tibet are often considered South Asian by the Departments of South Asian Studies of several universities, especially those referred to above; but this definition is by no means universal. Another controversy grows over Iran, for Iran is considered South Asian by the UN on the one hand, but none of those departments above on the other. The G8’s definition of the Greater Middle East further obfuscates matters by including both Pakistan and Afghanistan. See: Middle East and Greater Middle East. Controversial race researcher Richard Lynn has defined Southern Asia as “from Bangladesh in the east through India, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, the Gulf states, the near East, and Turkey”.
