i think there should be choice and that,s it freedom..let people feel they are not slaves and bound to obey rules against their choices ,i think that,s what islaam teaches you are free to choose the way you want to go ,you will be responsible for your action, for those people who qoute islaam i humbly request them go and study islaam ,because you are free the way you want to go but don,t force others to go on the way you want, this is kinda extreamism , may be whatever is right for us is not right for others so we have no rights to force any one....i think every human wants freedom ,freedom , live and let live ....don,t interfer in others lives....go on your way go go go and don,t stop but why forcing others ,why ? do you feel alone on the way you are? if you really feel alone on the way you are then you should think God is not with you ,you are alone.........if you don,t feel alone then why you need to force others to go on the way you are? why ?why you need them? this is not your business.if God is not happy with them then let God decide what to do with those ,dont, become your self God .............i am writing this for you this line ,i born and raised in a muslim family ,i am 26 years old still i didn,t convert to any other religions, but if i don,t have belief like you have it doesn,t mean you are right and i am wrong. let God decide don,t become your self God.

it should be opened, let the people decide. we need to move away from the islamic republic towards a secular republic, thats where development lies
the more we engage useless energy in social taboos the more we are wasting time, these are petty immaterial matters which we need to ignore

Respected Janab -Mr A A Mansoore Sahab::

"Aap Aissee Yableeh Martay Hoh Kay Loag Aik Important Bais Say Alag Hoh Jaatay Hain"

You seem like a decent human being and a born-again Muslim and I do not want to hurt your feelings.

Please make sensible arguments or just write agreed or disagreed.

Thank you.

My argument once more:

# concerned citizen on February 17th, 2010 :

We should Ban Tobacco and Drug pushers who make invalids by selling drugs & heroin.

The only think Mullahs have going for them is their hatred of Alcohol and the Morality of women. Mullahs lacking earnings, since they do not work cannot afford to buy Alcohol. Women they must control since they generally have more than one at home.

“It’s prohibited to prepare, import, sell or buy alcoholic beverages in Pakistan. Only specific joints are allowed to import and sell the liquor to the non-Muslims. There are many laws and regulations in acquiring such licence. There are authorities which regulate and control the distribution, sales and consumption of alcoholic beverages. LOL HA HA HA What a joke!!!
HOW????????????????????
Under what law is our Presidency, PM House, Governor House, and Pakistan’s elite buying and enjoying Alcohol.

Our Elite and wealthy class that has seen the world and traveled abroad like to have a drink and that is all right. we should tax them for their pleasures.
These laws are a farce and we must repeal them. They are only meant to help the smugglers.

Poor and struggling people everywhere will not drink as they know the effect of alcohol on their work.
Banning Alcohol is not the answer. We should make money out of those that wish to use it responsibly and can afford it.

Pakistan is losing billions of rupees in duty on illicit Alcohol coming across from India and sold by Dipolomatic missions.

We should legalize import and manufacture for export instead of continuing with this ban.
There are millions of drinkers of Desi and those who can afford it Walaitee Alcohol in Paksitan.
It is also manufactured illegally in villages and can be a health hazard for unhygienic manufacture.

While India’s Kingfisher Beer is sponsoring IPL and is earning billions through export of Beer our Industry has been choked by the Hadood Ordinance.
Those who want to drink for relaxation will drink. It is at least not as bad as smoking which is a killer and impossible to quit.

The billions earned from duty on legally imported and manufactured Alcohol can be used to build hospitals, schools where children can be educated about the harmful effects of tobacco and Alcohol.
We can also encourage family planning to reduce number of children needing assistance.

Millions of Muslims live in the Europe and America where Alcohol is legal. I have personally met hundreds of Pakistanis living abroad who choose not to drink. Nobody is being dragged to the liqour store against their will. Many Muslims chose not to drink out of choice as it interferes with their livelihood. Alcohol is not as addictive as Tobacco . You can stop drinking but Tobacco is like Heroin.

The fact that Alcohol is freely available takes away the excitement out of drinking. In Pakistan many people drink simply to show that they can afford it.

Pakistan has history of over 5000 years of Alcohol and wine production. Prohibition was tried in the USA and it did not work. It actually led to the creation of the Mafia.

We must remember that 75 percent of planet earth is non-muslim an allows its people to drink and buy Alcohol. We share our culture with the British who rules us for over three hundred years. That is why we love and play cricket. WE are not Arabs. We have nothing in common with the Arabs. We are from the indopak subcontinent.

Alcohol as a relaxant has been used in our villages for thousands of years. WE must learn from Dubai if we wish to make a Pakistan a place where foreigners want to come and invest their money and create jobs for our hungary that our rulers have failed to create. Mullahs can only create human bombs and terrorists. Who are not good human beings.

we should legalize sale of Alcohol with strict age limits for buying it. Generally the price removes 95 percent of our population from buying alcohol. A poor man cannot afford and will not buy as he must provide for his family. Social services and Society controls our behavior as can be seen in the successful West we all wish we could live in.

We must learn from Dubai. Dubai is a success story because it allows Alcohol and is the holiday destination of Pakistanis, Indians and its Theocratic neighbor Saudi Arabia. Just check out the billions people from orthodox countries are spending in Dubai every weekend.

"It’s prohibited to prepare, import, sell or buy alcoholic beverages in Pakistan.
Under what law is our Presidency, PM House, Governor House, and Pakistan's elite buying and enjoying Alcohol. General Musharraf drank "Blue Label Whisky" in President house. HE WAS NOT HURTING ANYONE.
How was he buying it?

While India's Kingfisher Beer is sponsoring IPL and is earning billions through export of Beer our Industry has been choked by the Hadood Ordinance.
Those who want to drink for relaxation will drink. It is at least not as bad as smoking which is a killer and impossible to quit.

The billions earned from duty on legally imported and manufactured Alcohol can be used to build hospitals and schools where children can be educated about the harmful effects of tobacco and Alcohol.

Millions of Muslims live in the Europe and America where Alcohol is legal. I have personally met hundreds of Pakistanis living abroad who choose not to drink. Nobody is being dragged to the liqour store.

The fact that it is freely available takes away the excitement.

Pakistan has history of over 5000 years of Alcohol and wine production. Prohibition was tried in the USA and it did not work
We must remember that 75 percent of planet earth is non-muslim an allows its people to drink Alcohol. If we wish to make a Pakistan a place where foreigners want to come and invest their money we should legalize sale of Alcohol with strict age limits for buying it. Generally the price removes 95 percent of our population from buying alcohol.

We must learn from Dubai. Dubai is a success story because it allows Alcohol and is the holiday destination of Pakistanis, Indians and its Theocratic neighbor Saudi Arabia.
