Sher Aya, Sher Aya; PML-N Defeats Zardari, Musharraf, Qaaf, Sheikh Rashid

Principled politics has got another boost and a new dawn of moral, ethical and just political culture has just begun. Lotacracy and dictatorship has been hit hard by the Pakistan Muslim League.
Malik Shakeel Awan of Pakistan Muslim League has won. Not only has he won, but also with a huge margin.
The balloon of Sheikh Rashid has gone punctured forever.
Jamat-e-Islami, Tehrik-Insaf and others must realize and understand the whims of the people and they should join hands with the PML-N to strengthen Pakistan.
Zardari regime should accept defeat and the Q league should either go to Musharraf or go to hell.
Sheikh Rashid was backed by the president camp and it was the duty of Salman Taseer, the governor Punjab to make sure that he wins. It was the same Sheikh Rashid who abused late Benazir Bhutto and her father. Q league, the illegitimate child of Musharraf was also there. Fazlur Rehman, the leading hypocrite of Pakistan was also supporting the Sheikh Rashid.
But then Lion won. People won. Rawalpindi won. Martyrs of Lal Masjid won. Principles won. Morality won. Democracy won and this election is heralding a new dawn for the Pakistan.

The problem is that none of our leaders have the education or the desire to bring prosperity to the masses.
Why are we still teaching hatred of other faiths in our schools when we all know that God does not exclusively belong to the Muslims, but to all others?
Why have we not repealed the Hadood ordinance in its entirety?

I’m sure resident of NA-55 will not bemoan the humiliating defeat of Sheikh Rashid but I’m glad that Zardari and his poodle (Salman Taseer) received another slap on their faces.

I agree with you completelty. Especially what have they done to give transperecny to the citizens. They take huge amounts of money from the West to fight the war on terror and support the development of the country but then betray the people of Pakistan. This victory is nothing to me. Lets see what changes are made in this location
People choose whoever they wanted to. Democracy prevailed. The bigger challenge is that the elected people should now promote a culture of mutual understanding and tolerance towards each other which would ultimately help us to defeat the extremist forces.
This is a ridiculous post having no ground reality. It you don’t know how to analyze then it is better to stay silent. Let me clarify that PPP voters were kept independent by its leadership. The results would have been quite different had PPP leadership officially announced its support to Shaikh Rasheed. As per Dunya News and other prominent channels reports from difference polling stations, there were not much PPP voters seen either voting for Shaikh Rasheed or PML(N). It is good that Shakeel Awan won this election.
In 2008 elections Mukhdoom Javed Hashmi … who contested from Rawalpindi only to settle personal grudges with Sheikh Rasheed… what the heck is this ??? What is his relation with Rawalpindi and whats the point in contesting from Rawalpindi for a person who lives in Multan ??? Real test begins now, PML(N) kept people of Pindi constituency mum for two years and Shaikh had to knock Supreme Court for by elections. A common man of Rawalpindi has nothing to do with Shaikh Rasheed or Shakeel Awan but to address issues that are being face by people in Pindi.
I think the writer was carried away by slogans at a congregation of N workers in RWP.
Come on, look at the things objectively. Don’t be part of slogan-chanting workers, at least not at TPS.
I guess admn of TPS also was excited after watching Pak cable channels which covered this by election as this was the issue of life and death of Pakistan. Such a write up as lead story………….. GK…!!!!
