Salman Taseer Must Be Leashed

By Rohail Butt • Sep 11th, 2008 • Category: Politics • One Response

Salman Taseer and the naughty carnival he is staging in the Lahore with the help of chronic lota from Okara Mian Manzoor Wattoo is now getting out of control and the barking has grown way too louder to be ignored. Not only governor Punjab is spitting venom on the top leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), he is also character assassinating the deposed judiciary without any restrain and constraint, and the time has come when the man has to be stopped for his own good.

This Salman Taseer was the man who was firing guns from both holsters during the interim era before the elections under the auspice of his mentor and master General (r) Pervez Musharraf, and now he claims himself the greatest and biggest Jayala of all time.

Pakistan People’s Party is celebrating it’s victory and grip on all the important levers in Islamabad and in the three provinces and they are justified, but they must not forget that it was essentially the ‘No’ of the chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhary, which triggered an unprecedented lawyers movement which forced dictator to bring back the PPP and PML(N) leadership back and to hold elections and then to run away. The share of PPP in bringing back the democracy is very minimalistic except the assassination of the Benazir Bhutto, due to the which they got majority in the elections and were able to form government.

The mandate of PPP should be respected in the center and in Sindh, NWFP and in the Balochistan, but the hungry and sycophantic toadies of Zardari must also give respect to the mandate of PML(N) in the Punjab. PML(N) has once again proved their resounding majority in the Punjab assembly during the presidential elections by taking massive 201 votes, and then it’s really irking to read the statement of governor Punjab, Salman Taseer that he would pushed throw the government of Shahbaz Sharif from Punjab.

Salman Taseer is even unable to win the election of his locality and he should be thankful to his lucky stars the friendship to Zardari that he enjoys an office in Lahore, rather than spitting at the moon.

  1. “Salman Taseer is even unable to win the election of his locality and he should be thankful to his lucky stars the friendship to Zardari that he enjoys an office in Lahore, rather than spitting at the moon.” Can’t he spit even if the Moon, you are referring to, has travelled completely into the Earth’s umbra, one observes a total LUNAR ECLIPSE which falls in category : L=0: Very dark eclipse. Moon almost invisible.
