Our army is fighting the terrorists and the terrorists have the advantage to appear, attack and disappear from anywhere, unlike conventional warfare where the whereabouts of the enemy are known. Ironically, due to the negligency and lack of vision on the part of our army and the government, the terrorists have been fostering in this area for too long and they know every stone of this toughest terrain in the world.

The army has broken the back of the terrorists and they are  on the run,  while successfully conducting the Swat operation. Though Swat is still volatile but the life is returning over there and now its up to the resilience of the people out there. The mere fact that the terrorist lobbies are targeting the innocent and unarmed civilian population makes it clear that it is frustrated and its complete destruction is not far away.

In this war, the city of Peshawar and the whole of NWFP is under fire and the almost daily suicide attacks, car bomb blasts have ruined this province. It is true that the great people of the Frontier province lived up to their centuries-old tradition of rendering sacrifices. Shahbaz Sharif is right when he says, “The sacrifices rendered for the survival of the country will bear fruits. They will emerge victorious from the hard situation they are facing and Pakistan will remain forever.”

The people of NWFP are sacrificing their today for the tomorrow of Pakistan.
