Renewal of the Pakistani Oath; the Red-Letter Day!

Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the man of honor, the man of our dreams who brought this country and this nation into being. The hardwork of so many years paid off on 14th August but before this blissful and blessed day, many days of deep-rooted massacre and endless woeful days stretched in the lifespan of the Muslims of the subcontinent.
On 23rd March, 1940 the All-India Muslim League met at Minto Park, Lahore and passed off the ‘Lahore Resolution’ later dubbed by the British and Hindus as ‘Pakistan Resolution’.
What is resolution, we may ask? Where is our ‘resolve’ to fight for what we believe in?
After 69 years, this day has rolled in on us again and with it has come the spirit to commemorate it as per our habit of launching various TV programs, going off in rallies and what other stuff that comes to our mind, yet there is something horribly lacking: the spirit of the need to work. This very spirit of the need to raise our voices and get a country where we can live according to our own customs and religion has somehow been replaced by a stagnant need to ‘just celebrate and enjoy’.
Oh, yes. Many of us would be throwing cock-tail parties, dressing up for concerts and all the very ‘party-ish’ stuff we can think off! And some of the despicable lot would be whooping about in happiness of somehow wriggling out yet another ‘holiday’ and sleeping the day off on our couches. The very words of Quaid of ‘work, work and yet more work’ mean nothing to us.
This day, was just another day of vowing to strive for Pakistan and to work for it. We did and brought that about but where is the thought of striving to save that very Pakistan we created of taking on the responsibility we have shirking for more than a decade and take her under our wing and protect her? We have to make a choice now. We can let this day escape once again as we have been doing for 61 years or we can pass of another resolution and declare a new ‘Pakistan Resolution’ with the amendment of making a difference to this country of ours and not to let her suffer anymore. This can be the beginning of another 23rd March. We can provide a landing for the generations to come to show them that the Pakistani spirit is still alive somewhere. Are we ready to do that? Are we ready to bring a change? We, as a nation, have the power to do that. There need be no incantations to mutter for a fortnight and to stew it all in a cauldron. All we need to do is to ‘resolve’ to work and work hard at that.
And will provide for him whence he expects not. And he who puts his trust in Allah - He is sufficient for him. Verily, Allah is to fulfil His work. Undoubtedly, Allah has kept a measure for every thing. – Al-Quran.
We have the words of Allama Iqbal to make us worthy of what we can achieve and what we can forfeit.
No claim to the future, it’s joy or its sorrow,
Has he in whose soul no hot passion burns now;
Unworthy the tumult and strife of tomorrow
That nation to whose will to-day does not bow.

there is nothing like that …………..sorry dont agree,,,,,,,,,this is too conservative approach.
Hindus may not Have a “religion”, but have great mythology, started as early 7200 BC, way of life and a way to live in peace & Harmony with nature, surroundings, they have not read the “The Book” yet.

Sidra @ # 5: Sidra I don’t know anything about your claim to the origin of your ancestry, however, I can safely venture to say that more than 90 % of Pakistanis are descendents of common ancesters who inhabitted this region the sub-continent and therefore have same history and civilization common to all the people of the sub-continent. Foregin armies, a concoction of many different people of different regions along the way, who came here and converted our forefathers either by fear or favor or both [ and perhaps some free choice as well ! ] does not and can not amputate the history of our origin, their coming and our choosing a new religion does not alienate us from our history - it is part of our history as people who have inhabitted this region for thousands of years.

You have started with quaid’s quote that actually clash with his actual experience in his personal life.He married to 17 year parsi women when he was 42 year old.He actually supported her to rebel from her religion and family values in her immature age.Not he only but our other Muslim leaders who then took good positions at the time of creation of Pakistan opted to marry with Sikh women converting them Muslim.Most of them had preferred to marry very young girls compare to their ages.So what it reveals actually is question mark to young people like you.
Why they could not get any Muslim women having proper age difference?
How it was possible after relating with women of non Muslim community to avoid her other family members in inter dinners or in family gatherings.
After marrying in non Muslim community do you think his quote is correlated with his practical life.
Now come to circumstances after creation of Pakistan.Hindu Muslim term was converted into shia sunni or muslim /qadaiyani sect etc.We couldn’t get rid of these clashes and blood shed even after getting separate home land for muslims.So our oath of Pakistan on 23 march 1940 was actually first step towards dividing community on the basis of religion.
If we Pakistani opt to live here in perfect Islamic life then why our educated or working class always in search of migration mostly to non Muslims states and never missed any opportunity of settling there .Settling in Russian belt, Norwegian countries ,South of EU is more worst then living in India.But people always select their mode of life prior to their religious obligation in search of monetary benefits.Our leaders present and past always adopted hypocritical attitude for convincing our ill educated and conceptually weak people for proving their leadership skills..So what kind of mess we are seeing on our national forums are result of wrongly interpretation of Pakistani day.This day is mentioned in our history books as symbol of hate for Hindus and Hindustan without remembering and thinking that almost double of Muslim community than of Pakistan is still striving there with other communities on the basis of this division.

This talk about why Pakistan was made and two nation theory is making us go crazy. Let’s forget about why Pakistan was made, no one is disputing legality of Pakistan’s existence least of all Indians…and let’s try to figure what we want Pakistan to be in this century.

Actually not just that..opposing Ahmadis, opposing Shias, opposing non-Muslims, opposing women, opposing Bengalis, opposing Sindhis, opposing Urdu-speakers, opposing Baluchis, Opposing ANP, opposing secularists in general….the only holy cows and who have reaped the benefits of creation of Pakistan are Punjabi elite, Faujis and Molvis, rest are just achoots… Punjabi population is stupid and is easily enticed by religion and nationalism to hate all the above groups.
The current Pakistan is all about hate…and mostly its own citizens are consumed by this hate as it can’t do much about India or Indians.

Pakistan came in existence on philosophical concepts of sufferings.
This is true that Hindus and Muslims are and were; two entities with diversified conceptual difference of belief, faith and practice.
But this is not true that philosophy, customs and literature with bindings as intermarry and interdine was a practice as compulsion; except; in conservatives and low socioeconomics.
Misinterpretation due to restricted acceptance and deliberate denial; is the main cause of deviant approach.
This validated speech has been perceived in very wrong contest and context.
What took as ground of segregated approach as separate entity in subcontinent was similar deprivation and partially with ultimate suffering to Muslim community in almost all perspective of life; may it be jobs, necessity and ultimate outcome as defined community that may progress and propel life as per desire?
It was this concept of belief to varnish this suffered community a place to extricate their way of life according to the will and desire that took the concept of ideology as Pakistan.
When demand and desire route destiny; tracts are delineated as principle grounds under the political slogan of need as necessity.
The same speech is a highlighted theme of similar inclusion to endorse difference between conceptual beliefs as practice however it was never meant to disregard existing dominant community, the Hindus; but was intended to prepare a field for cultivation of new breed as community without further turmoil as deprivation.
The same concept is the truth of our ideology as well that here in Pakistan every existing community is allowed at will to practice its belief according to their faith and culture.
Nothing contravenes his behavior with life.
Miss Nazia is simply expressing her frustration by framing charges of molesting a young immature girl.
Why he could net get Muslim women of his age like Miss Nazia; is the stubborn, filthy, attitude with conservative frustrated approach of middle class; which definitely would have spoil his career as well as any one having relation ship in any contest in or if at all in future.
