Peshawar was in state of shocking fear and extreme trepidation; I was thinking is this the fatal doom of the people of Pakistan or some thing we chose for ourselves? but didn’t had much time to continue further with the thought process because another more ferocious reality struck my senses, that GHQ was attacked, I start looking, evaluating the details of GHQ attack and the backdrop in which it occurred, looking down into series of facts and other media made factor which contained news about how terrorists able to get inside, how were they tackled by army and then downed, finally announcement of yet another  army triumph, names of military martyrs of the operation, about the families which were the victim of the event about their emotion and question, and then usual  post operation analysis by pseudo-scholars on different channels, using smae old terminologies, but with a new itch, roaring their heart out on such “cowardly” act of terrorism and suggesting that it is now time to take them out once and for all, most were able to create the impression that only absolute way out to this blood shed is to go in to yet another blood shed, they were sure that operation in Waziristan is the only possible solution to the problem and after the operation their will be no such thing as Taliban and terrorism and Pakistan will be finally at peace, while listening and thinking about these things Peter Gabriel’ words are echoing in my ears:

“Red rain is coming down…..

Red rain….

red rain is pouring down…..

Pouring down, all over me…”

Apparently, Those who claimed themselves as Taliban 1st attacked Peshawar and then heart of military establishment and considered these acts primitively as preemptive strikes on the enemy (that’ll be Pakistan and Pakistanis) and to stop it to come in Waziristan, I have serious doubts on motives of their intentions, certain groups in TTP for a long time now are considered as suspected pawns, in their spirit of retribution for Pakistan army they tend to fall in to the traps and most of the times play in the hands of foreign agenda, we are the their beasts, because of our tight lips over drone attacks and military strikes in the tribal belt, causing severe collateral damage, for which there is no breaking new or any live coverage, so they normally create their own by doing this, drones will give birth to Mehsood after Mehsood, but these drones are becoming more like part of our every day routine, and for American its just a game, some school of thoughts declaring those attacks even as “positive” after Baitulla’s death, ridiculous, TTP in their mind has every reason to come for our soft targets in our cities for a payback

So its confirmed that we are going for an operation, PAF has already start pounding on to the suspected hide outs, Drone is littlie harder to describe in terms of which side it belongs but our jets go loud and clear about their association leaving a trail of clues behind them which normally lead our adversaries to our hide outs, any ways even though operation has started its worth tracking its existence, Too many things and too many questions are required to be taken under consideration before nodding one’s head in affirmation in the support of operation in Waziristan, one 1st should ask him self is he in favor of this adventure because He thinks it’s the ultimate answer to the situational query posted by the scenario and that it is what he believe is in interest of Pakistan and he is not supporting this solution for the sake of some one sitting out side and pulling the string from London and Washington to save their assets in Afghanistan from an inventible humiliation from the hands of freedom fighters, even answer is a yes, yet I would like to say its not worth it, these attacks on Peshawar and GHQ should bee seen in the light of the sequence and timing in which they occurred, in my positive faith for military I think Army was aware of the further fallouts of following the American agenda in the country, which is already bringing disgrace to the institution itself, Waziristan operation was in pending state, decision regarding operation was yet to be decided before these events and army seemed reluctant to go in to the mountain valleys and grounds of Waziristan, probably they were weighting for some alternate proposed solution or a shift in the strategy of political leadership, which as of now is in state of kneel down in front of U.S, then these attacks took place which provide apparent legislation to the forces who were “posted” on errand of opposing any non-military interference which intends to look for some thing out of the box in terms of finding a acceptable peace full solution of the matter, same forces are on “duty” to endorse and support of the voices that loudly claim that military operations are the only way forward in this ongoing chaos, its been 9 years since the policy of operations were considered as the 1st priority in terms of what is the 1st measure movement is looking to take against the forth coming increasing acts of terrorism, but did it seriously helped, I mean look around it’s a failed policy, how long GoP will continue to keep going on with this strategy, 1st it was a one man show from a dictator and even after a “free and fare” election and after foundation of a “supreme parliament” there is evident status quo in the so called war on terror and the basic stooped approach in basic principles the foreign policy specially towards the Americans, their is no change what so ever.

Before each operation US’s fed up media person and people tend to start to talk about the next possible operation, Waziristan operation is hardly started and there is a discussion about the perceptible next ground of next operation through a intellectual conversation about the origin of one of the reportedly killed talib during the GHQ attack named as Dr Usman, he belived to be part of “Punjabi Taliban” regime, and according to the rules of the engagement next target will be south Punjab, talking of Punjab “kindness” of Kerry Lugar bill has already named mureedkay as the possible den of “such” elements, then there is a wild obsession in Americans about bombing the non existing Quetta shura, reality of the dynamics of that particular issue has already been discussed in my previous article, “Talibanization” of Karachi is still considered as a real threat probably that’s why “local leader ship” of Karachi is in continuous direct “touch” of the Americans which have agreed to help them “honestly” on the matter, black water’s Humvees are at service of those people in case of any “emergency”.

Attack after attack, blast after blast in reaction of operation after operation, or consider it other way around its not going to change any thing, fall into loud chants of  “wipe them out..!”,“kill them all..!”, “hit them before they hit you”, again its not going to change any thing, result is a carnage, a massacre of Pakistanis by the hands of Pakistanis from both sides, while listening and thinking about these points, figuring a way out, looking for a possible salvation, Peter Gabriel is still whispering in the background reminding me….
