It is always easy to dictate a despot but you cannot do the same with an elected leadership, as it is sensitive to the demands of the masses and it is held responsible for its action. The recent arrests of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda leadership are indicative of Pakistan’s commitment to fight extremism, however as we face hell we must also sow some seeds of peace! Many were forced or influenced by this war and we need to bring those back into the mainstream of society, such militants need therapy to ensure a better future for them.
